Just got the first coral for my tank it’s a hammer coral (it just got in the tank about 2 hours ago so it’s still pretty retracted)

Is this too much flow for it?

Does this look like it is dying? It is fluorescent in about half of it, but it used to be full circle. It is also very white and I can see some of the skeleton. It is obviously on the sand bed, so not getting strong light and is not getting heavy flow. All my parameters are good. Any ideas?

I have recently set up a new tank and moved all my coral and fish over everything is doing good and parameters are pretty stable but this green hammer coral has shrunk back a lot. Any suggestions would be great on how to save it!

Not a sales post. TIA just made a new Coral Care Card for the shop.

These are the exact tank parameters we run in-store, the same ones we’ve kept steady since 2008.

Sharing here in case it gives you a few helpful reefing nuggets.

Also, with ReefBay Marketplace launching, here are a few acclimation tips if you’re buying corals online from any seller.
