Thanks to Senna's corals, I added 6 new pieces since yesterday:

[ ] 2 Duncan heads (there are already 2 extra heads growing, but they're still small and don't have any color yet)

[ ] 3 Torch heads

[ ] Pocillopora

[ ] Porites

[ ] Turbinaria

[ ] devils hand leather

I only have one question: how long can it take for my finger leather coral to stand upright again and fully open? When I received it yesterday, it was standing upright, but now it has gone limp and fallen over. (You can see it on the last picture)

Question:

What are some of the problems that you face when introducing new coral frags to your system(s)?

Just trying to learn from other’s experiences.

I wanna ask whats the best positioning for my soon to be placed corals and some macroalgae

Tank setup:

*10G

*1 warty frog fish

*canister filter (mechanical, chemical, carbon)

*Water flow is variable so i can just change the current

*RO water already

I was planning to add:

*pulsing xenia/kenya tree will be placed behind rock to not over populate

*red/purple/ or any dark colored zoan

*and some macroalgae not sure what other type to add since i am still looking for red,pink,purple or dark colored type to match the rock and theme

Don't mind the middle rock in front i just did not take it out since my warty likes that rock and mostly stays on that rock that was from his old rock formation before deciding to add corals and adding bigger rocks

Bought this zoa, anyone able to ID?

Got this free leather corals at my local Petco, you think they will make it? They where a DOA shipment with their fish you think they will make it?

Trying my second torch again first one died 2 days later 😭

Whilst it doesn't show up great on camera, my first Torch has some crazy colour under blue. Lime green Centre with plum coloured polyps and tips that range from a light pink to a peach colour.

Got a Rainbow BTA (green mouth then its tentacles go from green to yellow to pink) from a friend for my bday! Wish me luck on getting these 2 knuckleheads to host it! Any tips would be great!

Just got the first coral for my tank it’s a hammer coral (it just got in the tank about 2 hours ago so it’s still pretty retracted)

Is this too much flow for it?

The new locally aquacultured scoly is that scary it freaked out the mushroom and BTA.

A new little zoa garden.

Not sure what they are. I think the green are radioactive dragon eyes. Thoughts?
