Hey all! Just wanted some opinions. I’d like to add a Juvenile Tang (I know they will outgrow the tank) with plans of trading it in for another juvenile when it gets bigger.
Has anyone had experience doing this? Pros and cons? Thanks!!
My new corals are doing well, I really want to add another fish to the tank (I have a Fluval Evo 13.5), I already have 2 clownfish does anyone have any recommendations?
Update: Added the following livestock since last post… last couple weeks fighting off Diotom blooms or the like. Weekly 10g water change and maintaining the glass clean. Don’t really disturb the sand or rocks.

I agree with the above statement they're beautiful and very good algae eaters as well but they can be aggressive and increase your bio load significantly in that small of a tank I learned the hard way

Yeah! Just get a wave maker that’s what I’m saying. I’m sure downalong the lines you will notice the water agitation but the middle section of the tank the water column would be still. A lot of detritus will build up then hair algae would grow like crazy trust...

1 Royal Gramma (very shy)
1 Powder Brown Tang
1 Fire Fish (not in video)
4 Green Chromis (not in video)
Nothing yet! I have brown algae. Would that be the same as Diatoms?
What are some good tangs to start off with? Getting myself a 125 gallon, it’s gonna be a reef tank, and am trying to decide the best ones. Thanks
Of the Tangs I own: Scopes Tang is very chill but not the most beautiful. DesJardini Tang very cool looking but may out grow a 125g eventually. Powder Blue Tang super beautiful colors but can be a bully (Mine is) I’d also highly recommend a Foxface Rabbitfi...
