I have a issue with my BTA seen at the end of the video. All my other corals are doing fantastic and really pushing out polyps. But the anemone has not wanted to get larger than it currently is. It moved there when I put it in the tank almost a month ago. Any tips or ideas what the problem could be?

MBDA project: Making coral bleaching & reef conservation easy to understand!

Goal: Engaging visuals + short explanations + live mini-tank to inspire students, locals, & groups to take action.

Mushroom corals are perfect—hardy, super colorful, polyps move visibly when healthy vs. stressed. A couple tiny baby frags (1-2 polyps each) would make this hands-on demo way more powerful than photos alone.

In Connecticut—looking for donations toward frags or support to get this going! DM if you can help. Let's wake people up to reef threats!

This is my first saltwater it's a 10 gallon. I got it in July already set up. I lost my coral already as I'm new and learning. I added to my cleanup crew last month and now I'm debating if I should add coral or just keep it as is.Any ideas?

I’m afraid my bubble tip anemone is not doing well. I found him down in the sand and set him up on a rock closest to the light but it looks like this (ignore unsightly green algae bloom I’m working on). parameters all have been good and stable.

Help with coral ID

I rescued this unknown frag from a clearance/bargain rack a month ago it wasn’t doing well and looked unhappy. The store employee who bagged it had no info on it, but I originally assumed it was an encrusting orange pavona due to its original color but now I think it was just browning out.

I did find its happiness and turned the coral around, it about doubled in size and is now displaying nice colors green, orange , and purple.

It seems to be thriving in moderately high lighting and flow.

How often do you feed your anemones? And what are you feeding? Can you over feed them? Bubble tip more specifically. I got my first one a month and a half ago. The first advice I got my nem wasn’t happy with. I switched it up and now I’m feeding him a cube of frozen food every 4-5 days 😂 no idea if that’s right but he likes it. Also my clownfish still haven’t figured out he’s a friend so apparently they’ll just continue to live against my overflow.

First pic is what it looked like at the pet store, all the rest are after bringing it home and taking a better look. I did drip acclimate for over an hour. It’s now in my tank.

What’s y’all’s thoughts? Does it look healthy? The last one I got from there died but I also didn’t see it open like I do this one. Please let me know. I don’t want this one to die.
