Spooked! First time he noticed the natural sunlight in the evening. Didn’t know they could change their colors so much. Almost looks like he was trying to mimic the shimmer of the leds or purple coral.
Did a little bit of maintenance today since additional corals are coming in! 🪸
It's a trachyphyllia and a blue ricordea yuma. Such a nice combination of contrasting colors. On a side note, the indophyllia started to recover from its bleaching state. ✨
Reef roads reef plus and reef trace are absolutely after 2 weeks I'm seeing coral color I've never even seen before the deep color in my zoanthis etc are insaine definitely recommend!
I was a bit worried about my Toadstool Leather for a while. It had been three weeks since I’d seen its neon green color, and I thought it might be dead, but it turns out it was just shedding! 🤣🤣 As a first-time reefer, I’m learning as I go, and it’s been an awesome experience!
New to corals. Got this guy at PETCO 4mo ago. Once my daytime lights switch to moon lights he shrinks down a bit but all the colors come out! So weird how different one coral can look in daytime versus nighttime.
This acantho was pretty receded and was hiding most of its color. Well a few months later and it looks like this! The second photo is it’s before and I believe there’s even more color to come!

When I first got this Acro, it was just a dull brown… now look at this beauty! The transformation has been incredible.
Little dull but with the right light and orange filter, camera found the colors that’re there. Hopefully they can color up brighter.
