Reef ID can identify 200+ species of saltwater fish and 130+ species of coral, and it will continue getting better every single week through reinforcement learning.
This is not a generic AI image tool like ChatGPT or Gemini. I tested those and they honestly did not work well enough for reef tanks. That is why I built a custom machine learning model from scratch, trained specifically on reef aquarium images.
Reef ID is included with the #DeepDive subscription, and I have also given everyone a handful of free credits so you can try it out.

Reef ID lives in the Library Tab This identifier currently only works for Saltwater fish and coral. It won’t work for any freshwater fish or inverts for now. I plan to expand it to saltwater inverts and pests soon! Make sure you’re on the latest app version...
