Looks like green cyanobacteria outbreak, usually in newer systems with an imbalance in NO3/PO4, keep up with water changes and try and get close to the 100-1 ratio in you...

I would avoid carbon at this stage, a flipper scraper is all you need. Brightwell phosphat-e works great for Po4 once you get there. Cool setup!

1.5 years in. Royal gramma hiding somewhere. New flasher wrasse in Qt still. Waiting for nudis to nuke the aiptasia.
Black/white clown was camera shy too..

cleaning day. still fighting the vermetid snails. I have at least 30 bubble bee snails. but I still don't see progress. I just make sure not...
I do 1 tablespoon mixed with 8oz or RODI water. I have never had any issues with the fish or corals.

Does this flow look ok?
My clown has been trying to get to it but it’s right in front of the wave maker so it pushes him away from that spot before he can inspect it
