Day 7.. 8:30am. I think this will be my last day posting this Phytoplankton /copepods project. 7 days into this cool project. I've now learned to be patient..🤭🤭😂😂 it's like the hardest thing to be, right.. but I like to thank everyone who left comments and inspired me to keep going. I like our saltwater community here. So I will harvest my fist dose of phytoplankton on Sunday to pour into my display tank. As For the copepods I'll have to wait a little longer. There are still babies, not ready yet. If I can do this, so can you. Not that hard. Just be vigilant with it. And patience is key. Thanks everybody.😃😃
Easy scud culture. All you need is a couple sticks. Some leaves and enough soil to weigh down the base with a a bubble everything seconds. This is for freshwater scuds though. Still working out salt
About 26 hours after setting the pico macro tank up! So far so good, clearing up nicely and already tons of life coming out.
Evaporation is really slow so far with the included lid. Only had to top up 10ml overnight. Parameters are looking good and I’ll continue testing daily till I feel the macro has grown out.
Ok this is an awesome algae turf scrubber.
Algae scrubber that I made...top notch!
Just sharing my tank 40g mixed reef with 20g macro algae refugium!!
