Gracias, curiosamente acabo de perder una colonia más pequeña de stylo morado justo al lado de esa por STN. Era lo único que se estaba derritiendo y no se ha añadido ni cambiado nada. Puedes ver el esqueleto blanco en la parte superior izquierda de la foto. La luz y el flujo han sido consistentes.

Thanks oddly enough I just had a smaller colony of purple stylo die off right next to that one from STN. It was the only thing melting and nothing has been added or changed. You can see the white skeleton in the top left of the Pic. Light and flow have been consistent.

That’s super interesting my experience has been nothing but good with my purple stylos hopefully I don’t run into that! If I do I’ll let you know what I find

¡Wow Marcus, esos SPS se ven súper felices bajo los azules! El pop de color en los zoas y hongos también es increíble. ¿Estás corriendo PAR más alto en esa zona o es más que nada el espectro para ti? Siempre me cuesta mantener felices tanto SPS como LPS en mi nano ya que el flujo y la luz parecen querer cosas totalmente diferentes. Tu mezcla de corales se ve tan saludable junta. ¿Algún consejo para evitar que los hongos se arrastren hacia las rocas de SPS? Siento que mis discosoma siempre están en movimiento. ¡En serio, excelente crecimiento y extensión de pólipos en general!

Wow Marcus those SPS are looking super happy under the blues! The color pop on the zoas and mushrooms is awesome too. Are you running higher PAR in that zone or is it mostly about spectrum for you? I always struggle to keep both SPS and LPS happy in my nano since the flow and light seem to want totally different things. Your coral mix looks so healthy together though. Any tips for keeping the mushrooms from creeping over to the SPS rocks? I feel like my discosoma are always on the move. Seriously great growth and polyp extension all around!

¡Gracias! Creo que tener un acuario poco profundo ayuda un poco. Aún no he usado un medidor de PAR. 85% en los azules rampeado a lo largo del día y los blancos quizá 20% al pico por alrededor de una hora por la tarde y luego bajan. Los hongos van a hacer lo que quieran pero se pueden raspar si se convierten en un problema, probablemente debería quitar bastantes ya que están ganando la batalla contra algunos de los zoas en esa área.

Thank you! I think having a shallow tanks helps a bit. I haven't used a par meter yet. 85% on the blues ramped up throughout the day and the whites is maybe 20% peak for about an hour in the afternoon then ramps down. Mushrooms are gonna do what they want but they can be scraped off if they become an issue, I should probably remove a bunch as they are winning the battle against some of the zoas in that area.
