¿Es normal que los corales plato se pongan así de hinchados? He oído que es muy bueno cuando están hinchados, pero también he escuchado que significa que no les gusta donde están en el acuario. ¿Alguien sabe la respuesta real? 😅
Is it normal plate corals to get puffy like this? I’ve heard it’s really good when they are puffy but I’ve also heard it means they don’t like where there at in the tank does anyone know the actual answer? 😅

Tengo un orange fungi plate y cuando estaba feliz, estaba todo inflado; cuando lo metí al acuario por primera vez se movió. No se movió mucho, pero se movió hasta donde está ahora. Durante meses estuvo todo inflado. Comía regularmente, hacía popó regularmente y todo parecía bien y luego la semana pasada se cerró y no se ha visto igual. Solo estoy esperando a ver qué va a pasar porque no sé qué podría hacer para cambiarlo. Si alguien tiene ideas, avísenme.
I have an orange fungi plate and when he was happy, he was all puffed up when I first put him in the tank he moved. He didn’t move a lot, but he moved to where he is now. For months, he was all puffed up. He ate regularly, pooped regularly and everything seems fine and then last week he closed up and hasn’t looked the same. I’m just waiting to see what’s gonna happen cause I don’t know what I could possibly do to change it. If anybody has an ideas let me know.

Sí, este fue el primer coral que conseguí y lo puse en la arena y se quedó ahí y siguió creciendo 😂🤷♀️ ¡buena suerte averiguando qué pasó! Yo no le doy de comer, solo atrapa el brine shrimp que pasa flotando
Ya this was the first coral I got and I put it on the sand and it stayed and just kept getting bigger 😂🤷♀️ good luck figuring out what happened! I don’t feed mine he just catches the brine shrimp that floats by

Sí, he notado que mis plate corals se inflan cuando están muy felices y recibiendo buena corriente e iluminación. A veces se encogen si están estresados, pero el tuyo se ve como que está prosperando. Ponerlo en la arena puede ser complicado, así que solo vigila cualquier cambio rápido.
Yeah I’ve noticed my plate corals get puffy when they’re really happy and getting good flow and lighting. Sometimes they do shrink if they’re stressed, but yours looks like it’s thriving! Placement on the sand can be tricky so just watch for any quick changes.

It did end up eating sand once after the pistol shrimp dug a new hole but it seems to be doing good 😂

Nunca he tenido un plate coral. Pero para todos los corales que conozco, que estén inflados/extendidos es una buena señal y significa que están felices y relajados.
I’ve never had a plate coral. But for all corals that I’ve know. Puffy/extended is a good sign and means they are happy and relaxed.
