Buscando un buen skimmer para el acuario. Tengo un acuario de 75 galones y tengo las tapas puestas y una luz en las tapas. No quiero el acuario abierto. Cualquier consejo o recomendación será muy apreciado, también qué es una buena iluminación para peces y corales que no te arruine
Looking off a good In tank skimmer. I have a 75 gallon tank and I have the lids on and a light on the lids. I don’t want the tank open. Any advice or recommendations will greatly be appreciated also what’s a good like for fish and coral that wot. Break the bank

Te recomiendo fuertemente un sump, te harán la vida mucho más fácil. En cuanto a la iluminación, busca una luz usada y será más barata.. quizás 2 Hydra 32?? Tengo 1 para mi Reefer 170 y es una luz excelente. Podrías conseguir unos brazos de montaje y luego simplemente poner una tapa de malla de algún tipo sobre el acuario, no sé si eso sigue siendo "abierto" aunque...
Strongly recommend a sump, they will make life so much easier. With regards to lighting look for a used light and it’ll be cheaper.. maybe 2 hydra 32?? I have 1 for my reefer 170 and it’s a great light. You could get some mounting arms and then just put a mesh lid of some sort over the tank, not sure if that still counts as “open” though..

I know it all seems expensive but buying the right equipment right off the bat is much better than buying cheap stuff and replacing it all later, you won’t regret it! I’ve bought everything of mine used and it’s been way more affordable that way

Ese es mi plan por ahora. No sé nada sobre un sistema de sump así que realmente no estoy 100% seguro. He usado HOB y canisters siempre y siempre he tenido muy buena suerte
That’s my plan for now. I don’t know anything about a sump system so I’m not really 100% confident in it. I’ve used hob and canisters forever and always had great luck

I think having a sump allows you to use a wider variety of equipment but it totally can be done without one

Me gusta una tapa por el hecho de que tenemos un gato que tiende a gustarle el pescado. No ha intentado meterse en un acuario pero los mira como un halcón. Si actualizo este acuario a un acuario salado de más de 125 galones probablemente intentaré un sump
I like a lid for the fact we have a cat that tends to like fish. She hasn’t tried to get into a tank but she watches them like a hawk. If I do upgrade this tank to over 125 gallon salt tank I will probably try a sump

Son una de las especies de tang más pequeñas así que estarán perfectamente bien en un acuario más pequeño. Solo necesitan un buen equilibrio de roca viva para comer algas y espacio abierto para nadar
They’re one of the smallest species of tang so they’ll be perfectly happy in a smaller tank. They just need a good balance of live rock to pick algae off of and open space to swim

Top of the tank is pretty open. I have about 40-50 lbs of live rock and I have 2 big coral skeletons in the tank I was given when I got the tank
