¿Qué kits de test estás usando? He estado usando Red Sea para calcio y magnesio, pero ya son muy viejos y estoy buscando algo un poco mejor.

What test kits are you using? I’ve been using Red Sea for calc and mag but they’ve gotten really old and I’m looking for something a bit better.

Uso Hannah para alcalinidad, fosfato y nitrato. Luego Salifert para calcio y magnesio.

I use Hannah for alkalinity, phosphate, and nitrate. Then salifert for calcium and magnesium.

¡Sí, yo también! Mido el alk un montón con ella. Estuve midiendo casi a diario durante mucho tiempo para ajustar mi all for reef, ahora mido el alk cada pocos días. Ojalá el de magnesio de Salifert pasara de 1500, porque llevo el mag en torno a 1500, así que si me pasara por accidente no sabría cuánto de más está.

Yeah me too! I test alk a ton with it. I was testing almost daily for a long time to dial in my all for reef, now I test alk every few days. I do wish the salifert magnesium went past 1500 as I run my mag at around 1500 so if I went over accidentally I wouldn’t know how much over I am.

Salifert está bien, pero agradezco cómo Red Sea proporciona tarjetas de instrucciones laminadas y herramientas consistentes. Salifert envió instrucciones en papel en un enorme desplegable. También está bien poder reutilizar algunos viales y que todos combinen. Todavía no he podido justificar el coste de Hanna.

Salifert is good but I do appreciate how Red Sea provides laminated instruction cards and consistent tools. Salifert sent paper instructions on a giant fold out. It is also nice to be able to reuse some vials and have them all match. Haven’t been able to justify the cost of Hanna yet.
