Description
The Cherub Angelfish, also known as the Pygmy Angelfish, is a small, brightly colored species native to the Caribbean. It has a deep blue body with an orange face and a series of vertical blue stripes on the forehead.
Reef Safe?
With caution. While it generally will not harm corals, it may nip at small-polyped stony coral and clam mantles.
Environment
The Cherub Angelfish prefers a well-lit tank with plenty of hiding spots and live rock for grazing. It can tolerate a range of water conditions but does best in stable, well-maintained tanks.
Behavior
This species is relatively peaceful but can be territorial with its own kind. It is best to keep only one in a tank unless the tank is large enough to support multiple territories.
