Description
The Chocolate Tang, also known as the Brown Tang, is a popular saltwater fish known for its unique coloration and active behavior. It has a dark brown body with a white or yellow tail, and a white mark on the cheek between the eyes and mouth.

Yes, the Chocolate Tang is considered reef safe but may nip at large-polyped stony corals and clam mantles.
Environment
The Chocolate Tang prefers a well-lit tank with plenty of live rocks for grazing and hiding. It requires a large tank to provide enough swimming space and to dilute the waste products.
Behavior
This species is known to be very active and will often be seen swimming around in the aquarium. It is generally peaceful but can become territorial and exhibit semi-aggressive behavior if it feels its territory is threatened.
