Description

The Dragon Wrasse, also known as the Rockmover Wrasse, is a fascinating saltwater fish known for its unique appearance and behavior. It has a long, thin body with a large, dragon-like head, and its coloration varies from a light tan to a dark, almost black hue. Its fins are ornate and elongated, giving it a dragon-like appearance.

Environment

Dragon Wrasses require a large tank with plenty of hiding places, as they like to burrow and hide. They prefer a sandy substrate which allows them to burrow. They are a tropical species and need a consistent water temperature.

Behavior

This species is known for its unique behavior of moving rocks and rubble around to find food, hence its nickname "Rockmover." It is a solitary fish and can be aggressive towards other fish, especially smaller ones.
