Very nice looking and peaceful fish, definitely recommend only housing with other non aggressive fish. Hides sometimes but comes out once it gets more comfortable. Similar temperament to a fire fish but I actually see it more often than my purple fire fish. Online it says they prefer deep water and stay at the bottom of the tank but mine seems to enjoy swimming all around including being near the surface.
