Love this fish one of the most beautiful, I would say they can be aggressive but clownfish are definitely more aggressive. Would recommend. If you put the right things in the tank. Make sure to have a lot of structure and they will be good in a 20gal+

The fish is beautiful and fun to watch as it moves about the rocks. However, they tend to be very aggressive towards other fish and should definitely be the last fish added to the tank. When I added new fish mine would bully them for days so much so I had to isolate the dottyback from the tank for two days while the new fish adapted, And the new fish was like twice this dottybacks size. Mine also killed any hermit crab/shrimp/snail that is could get to. Can’t say I would but it again unless it’s in a tank with fish that can hold their own in a fight.
