The Saddle Valentini Puffer, also known as the Black Saddle Pufferfish, is a popular saltwater fish known for its unique appearance and intriguing personality. Environment
The Saddle Valentini Puffer thrives in a tank with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas. It prefers a well-filtered tank with a moderate current. This species is not reef safe as it tends to nip at soft and stony corals as well as invertebrates.
Behavior
These fish are generally peaceful but can be aggressive towards other pufferfish and slow-moving fish with long fins. They are also known for their intelligence and curiosity, often recognizing their owners and showing signs of excitement during feeding times.

Softie and LPS safe, also does well with large snails like mature trochus and turbo, as well as urchins. Would not trust with SPS and smaller or more expensive inverts.
