Je voulais partager une petite galère que j’ai traversée. Il y a quelques semaines, je suis allé faire mon entretien et j’ai remarqué que la paroi en acrylique qui sépare l’avant des compartiments arrière sur mon AIO s’était décollée. J’ai paniqué. J’ai appelé le magasin et le fabricant. Ils m’ont dit que je devais remplacer. J’arrivais pas à comprendre comment faire, mais avec des conseils patients et une planification minutieuse, le remplacement sous garantie est arrivé et j’ai fait le transfert. J’ai utilisé deux gros bacs de rangement. C’était fastidieux, mais pas compliqué, et j’ai géré sans pertes ! Ils m’ont dit qu’ils ne voient ce défaut arriver que sur 2 bacs sur 1000 qu’ils vendent. Évidemment, c’était moi.

thought I’d share a little tribulation I went through. went to do my maintenance a few weeks ago and noticed the acrylic wall that separates the front from the rear compartments of my AIO became separated. I freaked out. called store and the manufacturer. they said I’d have to replace. Couldn’t wrap my head around how to do that but with some patient advice and careful planning, the warranty replacement came and I did the transfer. Used a couple of huge storage bins. It was tedious but not hard, and I got through it with no deaths! They said they only see this flaw happen in 2 out of 1000 tanks they sell. Of course it was me.

Ça m’est arrivé sur un vieux AIO. Au final je l’ai vidé et laissé sécher. Ensuite j’ai bourré de silicone et ça tourne nickel depuis plusieurs années.

I had this happen to an old AIO. I ended up draining and drying it. I then caulked in a ton of silicone and has been running fine for several years now

T’as géré ça comme un pro ! Le stress d’un transfert de bac, c’est du réel, surtout avec plein de poissons qui adorent se cacher. Je parie que le six line wrasse regardait ces bacs de rangement comme un artiste de l’évasion. Heureusement que tout le monde s’en est sorti OK !

You handled that like a pro! The stress of a tank transfer is real, especially with a bunch of fish that love to play hide and seek. I bet the six line wrasse was eyeing those storage bins like an escape artist. Glad everyone made it through OK!
