Au secours ! J'ai reçu deux bébés clowns storm hier et je les ai mis en quarantaine et le noir s'est immédiatement couché au fond en respirant fortement. Ce matin il est mort. 😭 Je ne veux pas perdre l'orange aussi ! Qu'est-ce que je fais ? Tous mes paramètres sont bons.
Help! I got two baby storm clowns yesterday and put them in quarantine and the black one immediately went to the bottom and laid down breathing heavily. This morning he died. 😭 I don’t want to lose the orange one too! What do I do? All of my parameters are good.

Merci beaucoup @MaxB. Voici plus d'informations. - J'ai acclimé au goutte-à-goutte pendant environ une heure. Le ratio nouvelle eau sur ancienne eau était 1:1 avant que je les transfère. - Je les ai eus d'une animalerie locale d'eau salée uniquement. Il les avait depuis environ un mois et les gardait pour moi pendant que je cyclais mon bac d'exposition. - Mon filtre a une fonction bulleur qui agite la surface en ajoutant de minuscules bulles et je l'ai mis à fond. - Je n'ai ajouté aucune médication du tout. - J'avais des coudes PVC noirs de 1.5" dedans mais je les ai eu chez Home Depot et j'ai peur que c'est ça qui les a tués. - Je viens de faire un changement d'eau de 50% et j'ai ajouté Seachem Prime et Stress Guard. Le pauvre gars va pas si bien.
Thank you so much @MaxB. Here’s more information. - I drip acclimated for about an hour. The new to old water was 1:1 before I transferred them. - I got them from a local saltwater only fish store. He had them for about a month and was holding them for me while I got my display tank cycled. - My filter has a bubbler feature that agitates the surface while adding tiny bubbles and I’ve got it turned it all the way up. - I didn’t add any medication at all. - I had black 1.5” pvc elbows in there but I got them at Home Depot and I’m worried that’s what killed them. - I just did a 50% water change and added Seachem Prime and Stress Guard. Poor guy isn’t doing so well.

Il me semble que tu as fait tous les bons choix, parfois ils ne sont pas en super condition à l'animalerie et le déménagement c'est ce qui les fait basculer. Et des tonnes de gens utilisent le tubage PVC dans des configurations de quarantaine, donc c'est très probablement pas la raison pour laquelle le clown a disparu. Les clownfish sont des poissons résilients donc il y a de bonnes chances que celui qui reste s'en sorte avec assez de soins. Ne t'en veux pas, c'était probablement hors de ton contrôle
It’s seems to me like you did all the right things, sometimes they may not be in the best condition at the fish store and the move is what puts them over the edge. And tons of people use the pvc tubing in quarantining setups, so it’s most likely not the reason the clown passed. Clownfish are resilient fish so there’s a good chance the remaining one will make it with enough care. Don’t beat yourself up over it, it was likely out of your control

Oh non ! Désolé d'apprendre ça, il y a quelques trucs auxquels je pense- 1) Ta salinité est un peu basse, généralement les gens visent 1.026. Tu les as acclimés au goutte-à-goutte ou tu les as juste mis dedans ? Ça pourrait être un choc du changement de salinité soudain. 2) si tu les as reçus en ligne expédiés, ils auraient pu être en mauvais état et extrêmement stressés. 3) peut-être pas assez d'oxygène, mets un bulleur, je vois que tu as un Wavemaker mais il est au fond, ce qui n'ajoute pas d'oxygène au bac parce qu'il ne casse pas la surface de l'eau ça n'ajoute pas beaucoup d'oxygène. 4) si tu as dosé une certaine médication trop tôt ça aurait pu mettre trop de stress sur le poisson, (comme si tu dosais du cuivre dès que tu les as mis dans le bac) Seul toi tu connais tous les détails de ta situation, donc bonne chance et j'espère que l'autre clown s'en sortira ! Considère quand même de mettre quelque chose où le poisson peut se cacher, genre un gros tube PVC ouvert en T, ça aide leur stress s'ils ont un endroit sûr. Les autres paramètres ont l'air bons d'ailleurs.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that, there’s a few things that I can think of- 1) Your salinity is a bit low, usually people aim for 1.026. Did you drip acclimate them or just put them in? It could be shock from sudden salinity change. 2) if you got them online shipped to you they could have been in bad shape already and extremely stressed. 3) maybe not enough oxygen, put an air bubbler in, I see that you have a Wavemaker but it’s at the bottom, which doesn’t add oxygen to the tank because it’s not breaking the surface water it’s not adding much oxygen. 4) if you dosed a certain medication too early it could have put too much stress on the fish, (like if you dosed copper right as you put them in the tank) Only you know all the specifics of your situation, so good luck and I hope the other clown makes it! Do consider getting something for the fish to hide in though, like a T pvc big open tube, it will help their stress if they have a safe space. The other parameters look fine btw.
