J’adore Fluval, mais je déteste carrément leurs tuyaux. À chaque fois que tu les cognes un peu, ça balance plein de débris dans ton bac. J’en pouvais plus. Je suis passé au silicone. Le flux est tellement mieux.
I love fluval but I absolutely hate their lines. Every time you even bump a line, it pumps a bunch of detritus into your tank. Got tired of it. Went to silicon. flow is so much better

Detritus from the ridges on the line? Does it make much difference flow wise?

Pretty much. Doesn't really affect anything but it agitates the corals in the tank when it touches them. And I would say the smooth wall helps the flow quite a bit

It was only like $22 for the tubing so at least it doesn't break the bank. If you have an FX2, it's 1-in ID

I run 2 Fx6’s but sure it would be around the same price. Do you like the look of the tube in the tank?

J’ai gardé la flex line à environ 12 pouces de long pour pouvoir encore utiliser le connecteur de rebord que fluvall fournit. J’ai juste utilisé des connecteurs Barb et des colliers de serrage pour le monter, mais les tuyaux ont l’air plus clean quand ils sont transparents plutôt que noirs. Ça se voit beaucoup moins
I kept the flex line about 12 in Long so I could still use the rim connector that fluvall provides. I just used some Barb connectors and pipe clamps to put it together but the lines do look cleaner having them clear rather than black. They're less noticeable
