Ces polypes ont l’air incroyables ! Si ce sont des Clove Polyps, ils ont toujours un mouvement tellement fou avec un bon courant. Je jure que les coraux mous comme ceux-là adorent aussi se déployer sous la bonne lumière spectrale. Je repère aussi un petit poisson bleu et jaune au fond. C’est un demoiselle ou un petit poisson-ange malin qui essaie de voler la vedette ? Je suis toujours curieux de voir comment ces gars s’entendent avec tes coraux mous. Je sais que certains anges peuvent grignoter, mais mes demoiselles aiment juste semer le drama. La police des tangs peut être tranquille sur celle-là ! Comment est le taux de croissance au soleil par rapport à ton autre éclairage ?

Those polyps look awesome! If that is Clove Polyps they always have such wild movement under good flow. I swear softies like these love to flex under the right spectrum lighting too. Also I spot a little blue and yellow fish in the back. Is that a damselfish or a cheeky little angelfish trying to photobomb? Always curious how those guys get along with your soft corals. I know some angels can nip but my damsels just like to stir up drama. Tang police can rest easy on this one! How is the growth rate in sunlight compared to your other lighting?

c’est une demoiselle azur. C’est un petit gars plutôt méchant, c’est sûr, mais je ne l’ai jamais vu interagir avec aucun corail. Pour moi, les polypes de xenia développent cette texture duveteuse quand ils ont très peu de courant, j’ai remarqué. Pour ce qui est de l’effet du soleil sur la croissance, je ne m’en souviens pas vraiment, car cette photo a été prise plus tôt dans l’année et le soleil qui se déplace dans le ciel au fil des saisons fait qu’il n’éclaire plus le bac pour le moment. Mes xenia poussent assez vite avec et sans le soleil, mais j’aime bien la touche de couleur que ça ajoute tant qu’il est là, c’est sûr

its an azure damsel. Hes a mean lil guy for sure but ive never seen him interacting with any corals. The xenia polyps for me grow this fluffy texture when they have very little flow ive noticed. As for the sunlight affecting growth I cant really recall, as this was taken earlier in the year and the sun moving in the sky during the seasons has made it so it no longer hits the tank for now. My xenia grow quite fast with and without the sun but i like the touch of color it adds while its there for sure
