Ik wilde een klein probleem delen waar ik doorheen ben gegaan. Een paar weken geleden ging ik mijn onderhoud doen en merkte ik dat de acrylwand die de voorkant van de achterste compartimenten van mijn AIO scheidt, los was geraakt. Ik schrok me rot. Ik belde de winkel en de fabrikant. Ze zeiden dat ik hem moest vervangen. Ik kon me niet voorstellen hoe ik dat moest doen, maar met wat geduldig advies en zorgvuldige planning kwam de garantie-vervanging en heb ik de overdracht gedaan. Ik gebruikte een paar enorme opbergbakken. Het was tijdrovend maar niet moeilijk, en ik ben erdoorheen gekomen zonder doden! Ze zeiden dat ze dit defect maar in 2 van de 1000 aquariums zien die ze verkopen. Natuurlijk overkwam het mij.

thought I’d share a little tribulation I went through. went to do my maintenance a few weeks ago and noticed the acrylic wall that separates the front from the rear compartments of my AIO became separated. I freaked out. called store and the manufacturer. they said I’d have to replace. Couldn’t wrap my head around how to do that but with some patient advice and careful planning, the warranty replacement came and I did the transfer. Used a couple of huge storage bins. It was tedious but not hard, and I got through it with no deaths! They said they only see this flaw happen in 2 out of 1000 tanks they sell. Of course it was me.

I had this happen to an old AIO. I ended up draining and drying it. I then caulked in a ton of silicone and has been running fine for several years now

You handled that like a pro! The stress of a tank transfer is real, especially with a bunch of fish that love to play hide and seek. I bet the six line wrasse was eyeing those storage bins like an escape artist. Glad everyone made it through OK!
