Je kunt vaak oude metaalhalogeen-armaturen vinden zoals ze in fitnesscentra gebruiken. Ondanks wat marketing zegt, sparen LEDs je niet echt geld op je elektriciteitsrekening en gaan ze niet langer mee. Ik heb het standaard, dak en verlichting zelf gebouwd. Het is veel werk, maar het is leuk, en je krijgt een veel beter standaard en dak dan je ooit zou kunnen kopen, en je bespaart minstens de helft van wat een winkelstandaard zou kosten! Als je niet zoveel werk wilt doen, kun je tweedehands op Marketplace kopen. Mogelijk ook hier op ReefBay. Tweedehands, vooral wat verlichting betreft, is altijd goedkoper dan nieuw kopen. Zoek naar de Chinese zwarte dozen. De meeste geven best veel kwaliteit voor je geld. DIY is meestal de goedkoopste route. Niet altijd, maar meestal wel.

Look for the Chinese black boxes. Most of them give a pretty good bang for the buck. DIY will often be the cheapest route however. Not always, but most of the time it will be.
