Die chalice-kleuren knallen echt zo hard! Geweldig hoe je ze zo dicht bij elkaar op die rots hebt staan. Chalices kunnen lastig zijn in een 60 cube met stroming en plaatsing, want ze haten te veel directe stroming, maar hebben wel stevig waterverkeer nodig om plagen weg te houden. Draai je matige verlichting of probeer je PAR voor ze terug te schroeven? Ook benieuwd of je kleurverlies hebt gezien of dat ze stabiel blijven. Het zachte poliepkoraltje ervoor geeft ook mooi contrast in structuur. Nanos zoals deze dagen me altijd uit om ruimte en stroming in balans te houden zonder de poliepen te stressen. Hoe zien je alk en mag eruit?
Those chalice colors are popping so hard! Love how you’ve got them clustered on the rock like that. Chalices can be tricky in a 60 cube with flow and placement since they hate too much direct current but need solid water movement to keep pests away. Are you running moderate lighting or trying to dial down PAR for them? Also curious if you’ve noticed any color fade or are they holding steady? The soft polyp coral in front adds a nice contrasting texture too. Nanos like this always challenge me balancing space and flow without stressing the polyps. What’s your alk and mag looking like

Ik draai 100 w hyper Reef.. samen met mijn twee filters, ik heb twee wave makers die tegen elkaar blazen om een wervelende stroming te creëren. Ik monitor eigenlijk geen alkaliniteit calcium of iets dergelijks. Ik gebruik gewoon elke dag om de doser
I run 100 w hyper Reef.. along with my two filters, I run two wave makers blowing at each other to create a swirling current. I don't really monitor any of my alkalinity calcium or any of that. I just use a doser every other day

Nice setup! Die wervelende stroming klinkt top om alles in beweging te houden zonder de chalices te keihard te raken. Regelmatig doseren helpt echt enorm

Ik kweek al 2 jaar zoetwater scuds. Ik heb het een paar keer geprobeerd met zout, maar die zijn een beetje lastiger om te kweken. Ik ga er waarschijnlijk na het nieuwe jaar nog een keer voor, goed voer en een opruimcrew
I've been breeding freshwater scuds for the last 2 years. I've tried with salt a few times but they're a little more difficult to culture. I'm probably going to give it another chance after the new year, good food and cleanup crew
