Ik krijg niet veel antwoord in mijn Facebook reefgroep. Iemand een idee wat die gele fuzzy groei op mijn Duncan is?
I’m not getting much of an answer on my Facebook reef group I’m in. Anyone know what the yellow little fuzzy growth is on my Duncan?

Haal de Duncan eruit en schraap dat eraf. De Duncan ziet er niet blij mee uit.
Take the Duncan out and scape that off. The Duncan doesn’t look happy with it.

Yeah monitor zijn extensie een dag of twee, als hij meer dichtgaat is het waarschijnlijk beter om hem eruit te halen. Als je het dicht bij de basis bedoelt, ziet het eruit als bellenaalgae. Als je dat kleine speckje dicht bij het hoofd bedoelt, misschien een spons?
Yeah monitor it’s extension for a day or two, if it closes up more probably best to remove. If you’re talking about near the base, looks like bubble algae. If you men’s that tiny speck near the head, maybe a sponge?

Waar zou de spons vandaan gekomen zijn? Ik dip al mijn koralen voordat ik ze in de aquarium zet. Het is deze ochtend echter weg. Chat GBT zei dat het zijn interne organen konden zijn die geïrriteerd waren of een steek van de rock flower anemonen die ik dinsdag heb toegevoegd.
Where would the sponge have come from? I dip all my corals before introducing them to the tank. It’s gone this morning however. Chat GBT said it could have been its internal organs being irritated or a sting from the rock flower anemones I introduced on Tuesday.

Het is eigenlijk weggegaan en niet teruggekomen. Dus ik schrijf het toe aan een steek van toen ik de rockflowers toevoegde en zij besloten zich als tumbleweeds te gedragen.
It actually went away and hasn’t come back. So I’m chalking it up to a sting from when I added the rock flowers and they decided to act like tumbleweeds.

Oh awesome dat het opgelost is! Die rockflowers kunnen lastig zijn soms. Heb je iets speciaals gedaan om het weg te helpen

Geen grap. Ik was zo opgelucht. Ik heb het volledig met rust gelaten eerlijk gezegd. Ik zou op dag 3 ingegrepen hebben met een dip en schrobben, maar het kwam niet zo uit de hand dat ik het nodig voelde. En het ging weg. Ik heb het wel goed in de gaten gehouden.
No kidding. I was so relieved. I left it completely alone honestly. I would’ve intervened with a dip and scrub on day 3 but it didn’t get so out of control that I felt like I needed to do anything. And it went away. I did watch it like a hawk though.

Ik leer ook nog! Had ongeveer 7 jaar geleden een aquarium dat succesvol was en probeer nu weer erin te gaan en te doen wat ik toen deed in plaats van wat nieuw is. Ik denk dat het werkt ? Lol
I’m just learning too! Had a tank about 7 years ago that was successful and trying to get back into it and follow what I did as opposed to what’s new. I think it’s working ? Lol
