Do you have a sump? A CO2 scrubber with C02 absorbent media will raise your PH
I have a skimmer and flows really good too in tank I do not have a co2 scrubber and I do have a sump
I'll have to check it during the day and see what it's looking like day wise and possible scrub water during night I don't see a affect on coral growth but I didn't want to cause any low growth during night time
Not sure if that will truly effect lps tanks but that's good to know i was measuring it relatively late at night
Running a CO2 scrubber linked to your skimmer with the air intake from outside. Houses and apartments now a days are very well insulated. Youβd be amazing at the power of just opening a window and watching your pH climb
I'll give it a shot
I'd say that pH is likely a testing error . Have you tested it with another device . A pH of 7.4
Not yet and this may be true I'm waiting for a Hannah tester to come this week
My coral and fish are thriving but I was trying to gage my perameter fluctuation to begin dosing so I was waiting to see where I was on it prior to calculating my dose with currently I want to go to kalk and not dose individually calsium and alk

At night I've noticed a ph drop have great flow and no co2 issues
That is completely normal and what is suppose to happen. Your PH drops at night because corals are no longer photosthentic and not producing oxygen. During the day they convert C02 into oxygen with raises your PH. Here is an image of a very normal PH graph by day. Youβll PH peaks during the day and bottoms out at night before lights turn on. So if you are measuring your PH. Just measure it once the same time each day for best comparison
