Hey everyone. Is that aiptasia growing at the base of my Acan?

Not on an acan plug š , but Iāve had good luck with a Copperband Butterfly. Before that, I used F-Aiptasia. Iād get ahead of it sooner rather than later, they can spread fast. Good luck!

Yes it probably is, I find these a fair bit on coral frags, in the past i have broken the bit of rock the coral is on off for the aiptasia, you canāt do that in this case

They will close up and spread spores around your tank, that means they will multiply like crazy, try aiptasia x

They will eventually spread and that one will get larger, I have one thatās honestly bigger than one of my rainbow bubble tips and could probably eat a small fish but itās on the very bottom of my rock and not bothering anything so I havenāt decided to take care of it. You can also use other things that are acidic like some people use a high dosage of kalkwasser in a syringe. There was also like a vinegar or something Iāve seen used that worked well. Whatever you end up deciding to use just make sure your flow is completely off when you use it otherwise it will fly all over the tank.
