Entendi. Eu acho que a preocupação é que o Red Sea tem uma fama de dar problema no aquário, então às vezes nem dão crédito pelo equipamento deles e por isso eu fiquei bem dividido, mas esse dosador foi recomendado pra mim e, sinceramente, eu acho ele incrível. É fácil de trocar, mas faz barulho — minha esposa sempre fala “ah é dosando”. Como eu não tenho nada pra comparar, eu só queria saber se o meu é alto comparado com outra marca.
Gotcha. I think concern would be Red Sea gets such a rap for tank failures, that sometimes they don’t get credit for their gear and because of that I was very conflicted, but this doser was referred to me and truthfully, I think it’s awesome. It’s easy to change, but it does make noise my wife always says “oh it’s dosing”. So being as I don’t have anything to compare it against I just wondered if mine is loud versus another brand.

Honestly I have a 3 yr old son and a 4 month old son so all I hear is them 🤣. I have a Red Sea Reefer 525XL it’s about 5 years old and never had a problem

A maioria dos motivos é que as pessoas não nivelam o aquário nem colocam suporte embaixo das travessas e, com o tempo, todo esse peso vai mudando um pouquinho e pronto. Eu fiz bastante pesquisa antes de comprar um aquário, porque tenho uns 30k investidos nele. Quando esse aqui um dia for, vou pegar outro Red Sea plug and play de novo. Eles vêm com tudo o que você precisa, menos o UV e os dosadores. Agora eles até dão o reefmat
Most reasons are people don’t level the tank or put support under the beams so over time all that weight shifts a little and there you go. I did a lot of research before buying a tank since I have about 30k in it. When this one ever goes I will get another Red Sea plug and play again. They come with everything you need but a UV and the dosers. Now they even give the reefmat

Isso é de um amigo meu cujo aquário falhou essa manhã. É o terceiro de 5 aquários Red Sea dele que dá falha. Que ironia a gente estar falando disso e aí isso acontece. Disseram que deram 20% de desconto num G2 pra ele.
This is from a friend of mine whose tank failed this morning. His 3rd of 5 Red Sea tank fails. How ironic that we’re talking about it, and then this happens. They offered him 20% off a G2.

Não dá pra eu responder isso. O que eu sei é que o meu tá perfeito e outros que eu conheço também não tiveram problemas, mas teve 1 e foi porque não nivelaram bem e a frente estourou. Fala pra ele tentar o gen 3 ou o gen 1 e 20% não parece certo. Quantos anos tinha o aquário dele
I can’t reply to that. All I know is mine has been fine and other people I know have not had issues but 1 and that was because it was not leveled good and the front blew out. Tell him try the gen 3 or 1 and 20% don’t sound right. How old is his tank

Se eu tô pagando 10k num aquário, eu vou pagar os $199 a mais e pegar uma garantia de 5 anos com 100% de reposição

Fala pro seu amigo pensar 🤔, mesmo que seja uma dor de cabeça e possa perder bichos vivos, vale a pena. E se ele tá nos EUA, se registrou, devia ter pegado 5 anos — porque nos últimos 3 anos eles estavam dando isso de graça por causa do problema do selante
Tell your friend he needs to think 🤔 though it’s a pain in the ass and could lose live stock its worth it and if he is in the US if he registered he should of got 5 yrs if he brought the tank in the past 3 yrs because they was giving it free because of the sealant issue

Dá opção pra aquários Red Sea? Eu não sei nada das opções de garantia. Eu só sei que ele teve uma garantia de três anos; talvez aqueles $199 a mais pra virar 5 anos não tivessem disponível na época?
Is that an option for Red Sea Tanks? I don’t know anything about the warranty options. I just know that he only had a three-year warranty maybe that extra $199 to get a five-year wasn’t available then?

Agora, se você não registra, aí só ganha 3 anos. Sempre registra qualquer equipamento de reef e sempre compra a garantia extra se você estiver comprando equipamento de primeira linha. Vale muito a pena, sem dor de cabeça, se der problema ou acontecer alguma coisa. Se você não gosta da Red Sea, pelo menos as bombas sicce confiam nos produtos deles. AI não tanto — eles dão uma escapada em qualquer problema depois de 30 dias. Reef octopus confia nos produtos deles e Red Sea e eco tech
Now if you don’t register it then all you get is 3 years. Always register any reefing equipment and always buy the extra warranty if you are buying top shelf equipment. It’s worth the no hassle if it goes out or something happens. If you don’t like Red Sea pump sicce stands on their products. AI not really they wiggle out of any issue over 30 days reef octopus stands on their products and Red Sea and eco tech

Engraçado que meu último aquário foi há 21 anos. Eu não estava por dentro de tudo desses aquários sem borda. Comprei o que eu tinha na época, agora. Ele tem uma estrutura e uma travessa no meio, que eu queria que não tivesse a travessa no meio. Eu adoraria adicionar uma terceira luz, mas adicionar uma terceira luz só criaria problema de sombra se eu centralizasse no aquário. Fora que o aquário só tem 18 polegadas da frente pra trás e, colocar uma AI blade, ou até uma Reef Bright strip, vai deixar difícil demais de conseguir fazer manutenção no aquário, então eu comprei um suporte de montagem da RMS pra eu conseguir adicionar mais duas XR 15 G6 Pro’s. Mas não tô totalmente certo se quero criar Acropora’s
It’s funny my last tank was 21 years ago. I wasn’t up to speed on all these rimless tanks. I bought what I had then, now. It has a frame and a center brace which I wish it didn’t have a center brace. I would love to add a third light, but adding a third light would just create a shadow issue if I centered it on the tank. Plus the tank is only 18 inches front to back and adding an AI blade, or even Reef Bright strip would make it too difficult to be able to service the tank so I’ve bought a RMS mounting bracket so that I can add two more XR 15 G6 Pro’s. But I’m not totally sure I want to grow Acropora’s

Ele diz que não é G2. O aquário pode ter três anos na posse dele, mas talvez não tenha três anos a partir da data de fabricação. Tenho certeza que vou saber toda a história quando ele tiver tempo.
He says it’s not a G2. The tank may be three years old in his possession, but maybe not three years old from the date of manufacture. I’m sure I’ll get the whole story when he has time.

Dá pra cortar a parte do meio de cima. É só pra segurar as luzes plásticas que encaixam nela. Não curto muito spa, mas eu tenho as luzes pra isso. Esperar mais alguns anos e eu vou fazer upgrade pra um 625 725 e esse vai ser meu último aquário. Fiz rack scapes diferentes tudo na parede de trás, mas o último vou centralizar e partir daí. Tô na esperança que eles deixem o vidro plano atrás em vez daquela caixa de overflow, pra que as gyres rodem certinho
You can cut the center out of the top. It is just to hold the plastic lights that fit it. I’m not really into spa though I have the lights for it. Waiting a few more years and I’m going to upgrade to a 625 725 and that will be my last tank. I have done different rack scapes all off the back wall but last 1 I will center them and go from there. I’m hoping they will make the glass flat in the back instead of the box over flow so gyre’s will run right

Bem, o meu burro teve um reator no painel de controle e claro que estourou uma mangueira e fritou todo meu equipamento. Eu sei algumas pessoas na sicce, reef octopus e AI, então consegui tudo meu barato e testei os produtos deles. Mas se não fossem os descontos que eu peguei, eu teria ido de Red Sea do começo ao fim
Well my dumb ass had a reactor in my control panel and of course it blew a hose and fried all my gear. I know some people at sicce and reef octopus and AI so I got all my gear cheap so tried their products. But if not for the deals I got I would of Red Sea all the way
