Estou pensando em pegar outro coral torch. Tentei duas vezes no passado e fracassei nas duas. Nas duas vezes anteriores, tive problemas com os nutrientes ficando instáveis. Finalmente consegui deixá-los estáveis.
Alguém pode me dar dicas ou conselhos para mantê-los felizes?

Debating getting another torch coral. I have tried twice in the past and failed both times. Both times previously I have had issues with nutrients being unstable. I have finally got them to a stable condition.
Can anyone give me any tips or advice for keeping them happy?

Você está sempre mantendo a 25.6 celsius? Se puder, tente mirar em uma Alcalinidade um pouco mais alta, isso faz com que as variações sejam menores. E foque em manter a salinidade em torno de 35, você está usando um ATO? Quais parâmetros específicos você teve dificuldade nas tentativas anteriores?
Are you always running at 25.6 celsius? If you can, try to aim for a bit higher Alkalinity this makes the swings less big. And focus on keeping the salinity around 35, are you using a ATO? Which specific parameters did you have trouble with in the past attempts?

No passado eu tive problema com o fosfato ficando lá em cima. Meu RODI estava colocando uma quantidade absurda de fosfato no meu aquário. Troquei o filtro desde então, o aquário parece estável nesses níveis com muito pouca intervenção minha. O nitrato sempre ficava cravado em zero, parece que também resolvi isso. A temperatura sempre fica por aí, tende a oscilar entre 25.5/26.
In the past ive had bother with phosphate being through the roof. My RODI was putting a mad amount of phosphate into my tank. Ive changed filter since, tank seems stable at these levels with very little involvement from me. Nitrate was always flat lined at zero, I have solved this as well it would seem. Temp is always there or there abouts, tends to fluctuate between 25.5/26.

Já enterrei 2 das minhas 5 torches. O que eu percebi é que uma faixa de tecido saudável ao redor dos tentáculos na hora da compra é um bom sinal de sucesso. Ambos os corais que tive que jogar fora já não tinham faixa de tecido na compra, só uma borda óssea. Os que tinham continuam indo bem! Meu conselho: observe bem como essa faixa está quando for comprar, e não encomende online como eu fiz. Meu holy moly ainda está feliz e saudável, por sorte! E os cumprimentos do Ernie, meu ouriço-do-mar com sua coroa🤣
Ik heb inmiddels ook 2 van mijn 5 torches moeten begraven. Wat mij op valt is dat een gezonde weefselband om de tentakels heen bij aankoop een goede voorbode is van succes. Beide koralen die ik heb moeten weggooien hadden bij aankoop al geen weefselband, maar een bottige rand alleen. De gene die het wel hadden doen het nog steeds goed! Mijn advies, kijk goed hoe die band er uit ziet als je ze aankoopt, en dus niet online bestellen zoals ik dat deed. Mijn holy moly is nu nog gelukkig happy en gezond! En de groetjes van Ernie, m’n zee-egel met z’n kroon op🤣
