Hätte eine Frage an jeden, der einen Court Jester Goby (Rainford's Goby) oder Zweifarbigen Lippfisch besitzt. Machen sie einen guten Job beim Fressen von Haargelalgen? Welcher ist besser beim Algenfraß, wenn ihr beide hattet? Danke!
Had a question for anyone that owns a court jester goby(Rainfords goby) or bi-color blenny. Do they do a good job eating hair algae? Which one is better at eating the algae if you’ve owned both? Thanks!

Ich hatte einen Rainford's Goby in meinem 40er und er hat sich ganz ordentlich bei Haargelalgen gemacht, aber er ist eher ein Sandsifter als ein Vollzeit-Algenfresser. Der Zweifarbige Lippfisch getzt definitiv aggressiver auf Steinen und Algen, aber sie können ein bisschen territorial werden, also spielen Beckengröße und Steinaufbau eine Rolle. For
I’ve had a Rainford’s goby in my 40 and it did a decent job on hair algae but it’s more of a sand sifter than a full-time algae eater. The bicolor blenny is definitely more aggressive about grazing on rock and algae, but they can get a bit territorial so tank size and rock layout matter. For

Klingt, als könnte der Zweifarbige eine gute Wahl sein. Ich habe einen Rasenmäher-Lippfisch gekauft und er hat sich vom Stress nicht erholt. Er sah im Geschäft gestresst aus, aber ich dachte, ich könnte ihn da rausbringen. Aber kein Glück, gestorben am Tag 2 in meinem Becken. Ich las, dass Rasenmäher 50/50 bei der Überlebenschance nach dem Umzug in neue Systeme sind. Will nicht nochmal durch das durchgehen. Tat mir leid für ihn.
Sounds like the bicolor might be a good choice. I purchased a lawnmower blenny and he never recovered from the stress. He looked stressed in the store, but figured I could bring him out of it. But no luck, died on day 2 in my tank. I was reading that lawnmowers are 50/50 on survival after being placed in new systems. Just don’t want to go thru that again. I felt bad for him.

Wenn du einen Pictus Lippfisch bekommst, machen die einen guten Job, minus die Aggression. Ich habe einen in jedem meiner Becken und die fressen Algen wie verrückt für wie klein sie sind
If you can get a pictus blenny they will do a great job minus the aggression. I have one in each of my tanks and they eat algae like crazy for how small they are

Danke. Von dem Fisch hab ich noch nicht gehört. Ich habe jetzt viele Haargelalgen, die ich täglich jedem rauspflücke. Ich muss mich auf einen Fisch einigen, bevor es zu sehr außer Kontrolle gerät.
Thank you. I haven’t heard of that fish. I have lots of hair algae now that I’m plucking out everyone’s day. I need to decide on a fish before it gets too out of hand.

Er sieht cool aus. Nicht einfach zu finden, aber sie machen einen guten Job. Er hat mein Nano in 1-2 Wochen aufgeräumt
He’s a cool looking guy. Not easy to find but they do a great job. He cleaned up my nano in 1-2 weeks

Der Zweifarbige hat in meinem Nano Becken ganze Arbeit beim Reinigen der Steine geleistet. Leider ist er ausgerastet und hat meinen Purple Firefish getötet, dann bekam er brooklynela und starb (keine Ahnung, ob ich das richtig schreibe)
Bicolor did a great job keeping all the rock clean in my nano tank. Unfortunately he went rogue and killed my purple firefish then got brooklynela and died ( no clue if that’s how you spell it)
