Hilfe! Ich habe gestern zwei kleine Storm Clownfische bekommen und sie in Quarantäne gesetzt und der schwarze ist sofort nach unten gegangen und hat sich hingelegt und schwer geatmet. Heute Morgen ist er gestorben. 😭 Ich möchte den orangenen nicht auch noch verlieren! Was kann ich tun? Meine Wasserwerte sind alle gut.
Help! I got two baby storm clowns yesterday and put them in quarantine and the black one immediately went to the bottom and laid down breathing heavily. This morning he died. 😭 I don’t want to lose the orange one too! What do I do? All of my parameters are good.

Vielen Dank @MaxB. Hier sind mehr Informationen. - Ich habe etwa eine Stunde lang drippt akklimiert. Das Verhältnis neu zu alt Wasser war 1:1 bevor ich sie übertragen habe. - Ich habe sie von einem lokalen Salzwasserfischladen bekommen. Er hatte sie etwa einen Monat und hat sie für mich gehalten während ich mein Schaubecken zyklisiert habe. - Mein Filter hat eine Sprudler-Funktion die die Oberfläche aufwühlt während es winzige Blasen hinzufügt und ich habe ihn ganz aufgedreht. - Ich habe überhaupt keine Medikamente hinzugefügt. - Ich hatte schwarze 1,5" PVC Winkel drin aber ich habe die bei Home Depot gekauft und mir ist Sorge, dass das sie getötet hat. - Ich habe gerade einen 50% Wasserwechsel gemacht und Seachem Prime und Stress Guard hinzugefügt. Der arme Kerl geht's nicht so gut.
Thank you so much @MaxB. Here’s more information. - I drip acclimated for about an hour. The new to old water was 1:1 before I transferred them. - I got them from a local saltwater only fish store. He had them for about a month and was holding them for me while I got my display tank cycled. - My filter has a bubbler feature that agitates the surface while adding tiny bubbles and I’ve got it turned it all the way up. - I didn’t add any medication at all. - I had black 1.5” pvc elbows in there but I got them at Home Depot and I’m worried that’s what killed them. - I just did a 50% water change and added Seachem Prime and Stress Guard. Poor guy isn’t doing so well.

Es scheint mir, dass du alles richtig gemacht hast, manchmal sind die Fische im Fischladen nicht in der besten Verfassung und der Umzug bringt sie über die Kante. Und tonnenweise Leute benutzen PVC Rohre in Quarantäne-Setups, also ist es höchstwahrscheinlich nicht der Grund warum der Clown gestorben ist. Clownfische sind widerstandsfähige Fische also es gibt eine gute Chance dass der Überlebende es mit genug Sorgfalt schafft. Mach dir keine Vorwürfe, es war wahrscheinlich außerhalb deiner Kontrolle
It’s seems to me like you did all the right things, sometimes they may not be in the best condition at the fish store and the move is what puts them over the edge. And tons of people use the pvc tubing in quarantining setups, so it’s most likely not the reason the clown passed. Clownfish are resilient fish so there’s a good chance the remaining one will make it with enough care. Don’t beat yourself up over it, it was likely out of your control

Oh nein! Es tut mir leid das zu hören, mir fallen da ein paar Dinge ein- 1) Deine Salinität ist etwas niedrig, normalerweise peilen die Leute auf 1.026 ab. Hast du sie drippt oder einfach reingesetzt? Es könnte Schock durch plötzliche Salzgehaltveränderung sein. 2) Wenn du sie online verschickt bekommen hast, hätten sie schon in schlechtem Zustand sein können und extrem gestresst. 3) Vielleicht nicht genug Sauerstoff, stell einen Luftsprudler rein, ich sehe dass du eine Wavemaker hast aber sie ist unten, das bringt keinen Sauerstoff ins Becken weil sie die Wasseroberfläche nicht bricht, es bringt nicht viel Sauerstoff. 4) Wenn du ein bestimmtes Medikament zu früh dosiert hast, könnte das zu viel Stress auf den Fisch gebracht haben (wie wenn du Kupfer dosiert hast direkt nachdem du ihn ins Becken gesetzt hast) Nur du kennst alle Details deiner Situation, also viel Glück und ich hoffe der andere Clown schafft es! Bedenk aber, dem Fisch etwas zum Verstecken zu geben, wie ein großes offenes T-PVC Rohr, das hilft dem Stress wenn sie einen sicheren Platz haben. Die anderen Wasserwerte sehen übrigens gut aus.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that, there’s a few things that I can think of- 1) Your salinity is a bit low, usually people aim for 1.026. Did you drip acclimate them or just put them in? It could be shock from sudden salinity change. 2) if you got them online shipped to you they could have been in bad shape already and extremely stressed. 3) maybe not enough oxygen, put an air bubbler in, I see that you have a Wavemaker but it’s at the bottom, which doesn’t add oxygen to the tank because it’s not breaking the surface water it’s not adding much oxygen. 4) if you dosed a certain medication too early it could have put too much stress on the fish, (like if you dosed copper right as you put them in the tank) Only you know all the specifics of your situation, so good luck and I hope the other clown makes it! Do consider getting something for the fish to hide in though, like a T pvc big open tube, it will help their stress if they have a safe space. The other parameters look fine btw.
