Entschuldigung für deinen Verlust, mir ist etwas Ähnliches mit meinem Scopas Tang passiert, ich dachte wirklich, dass er es nicht schaffen würde, aber er hat es geschafft und seitdem eine gute Erholung gemacht. Jetzt bin ich mir zu 100% nicht sicher, was er hatte, aber es sah ähnlich aus wie das, was dein Fisch hatte. Ich habe ein Bild in meinem Profil, wenn du es anschauen und vergleichen möchtest. Ich habe eine Medikation ins Futter gegeben, nämlich Focus und Metroplex von Seachem, ich verwende auch Selcon, da das das Immunsystem stärkt.
Sorry for your loss, Similar thing happened to my Scopas Tang, honestly thought it wasn’t going to make it but it did and since then has made a recovery. Now I’m not 100% sure what it had but it looked similar to what your fish had. I have a picture on my profile if you’d like to take a look and compare. I did add a medication their food which was Focus and Metroplex from Seachem, I also use Selcon as this helps boost their immune system.

Sobald ich das therapeutische Level erreiche, füge ich Antibiotika hinzu, um Kieferinfektionen zu verhindern. In diesem Fall war mir aber die Zeit nicht günstig. Falls ich wieder in eine ähnliche Situation komme, plane ich, zuerst mit einer 30-minütigen Wasserstoffperoxid-Behandlung zu beginnen, bevor ich mit der Medikation fortfahre. Ich habe viele Fische behandelt, aber dieser Fall ließ mich unsicher über die genaue Krankheit sein.
When treating a fish, it’s crucial to act quickly as soon as you notice symptoms. I typically begin with Prazipro, and then after 2-3 days, I introduce copper. Once I reach the therapeutic level, I add antibiotics to prevent gill infections. However, in this case, time was not on my side. If I encounter a similar situation again, I plan to start with a 30-minute hydrogen peroxide treatment before proceeding with medication. I've treated many fish, but this particular case left me uncertain about the specific disease affecting the fish.

Stimme dir bei der H2O2-Badebehandlung zu. Aber ich frage mich, warum du 2–3 Tage wartest, nachdem du flüssiges Prazipro gegeben hast, bevor du mit Kupfer anfängst? Ick oder Samt – die Behandlung ist dieselbe.
Agree on the h2o2 bath first. But im curious why you wait 2-3 days after prazipro liquid before starting copper? Ich or velvet, treatment is the same.

Am Tag 3 liegt mein Kupferlevel bei 0,25 und erhöht sich bis Tag 4 auf 0,44. Am Tag 6, wenn ich Prazipro beende, liegt der Kupferlevel bei etwa 0,50. Danach erhöhe ich das Kupfer auf therapeutische Level und fange an, Antibiotika hinzuzufügen. Ich bevorzuge es, nicht zu viele Medikamente auf einmal zu mischen, da es dem Fisch möglicherweise nicht gut tut.
On day 3, my copper level is at 0.25, and it increases to 0.44 by day 4. By day 6, when I finish prazipro, the copper level is around 0.50. At that point, I’ll raise the copper to therapeutic levels and start adding antibiotics. I prefer not to mix too many medications at once, as it might not be beneficial for the fish.

Bei kupferempfindlichen Fischen ist ein langsames Hochfahren gerechtfertigt. Aber wenn ein Ick-Ausbruch so weit fortgeschritten ist, würde ich vorschlagen, direkt auf therapeutische Level von Kupfer und Prazipro und Nitrofurazon zu gehen. Das ist die einzige Chance. Tangs sind nicht kupferempfindlich wie Lippfische, aber selbst dann, wenn du keine andere Wahl hast. Das ist eine tickende Zeitbombe. Besonders wenn es Samt ist.
With copper sensitive fish a slow ramp is warranted. But when this far along an ich outbreak id suggest go straight to therapeutic levels of copper and prazi and nitrofurazone. Its the only chance. Tangs aren't copper sensitive like wrasse but even then if you have no choice. Its a time bomb. Especially if its velvet.

Ich beobachte dieses Becken genau. Ich habe heute Sandscharr-Verhalten bei ein paar Fischen bemerkt, also plane ich, alle von ihnen zu quarantänen. Ich teile später heute ein Video vom Powder Blue Tang, da er sich normal verhielt, bevor er starb.
I'm keeping a close eye on this tank. I've noticed some sand-scratching behavior in a few fish today, so I'm planning to quarantine all of them. I will share a video later today,of the powder blue tang as he was behaving normally before he passed away.

@nasser qt in einem anderen Becken? Wie viele Fische? Ich sah nur, dass du den einen hast. Sei nur gewarnt vor Fischen, die kupferempfindlich oder kupferintolerant sind. Gib mir Bescheid, wenn du Fragen hast. Der Lebenszyklus von Ick ist 76 Tage.
@nasser qt in another tank? How many fish? I only saw you have the 1.. just be advised of what fish are copper sensitive or intolerant. Let me know if you have any questions. Life cycle of ich is 76 days.
Die beste Methode, um Ick aus deinem Riff-Aquarium zu bekämpfen und eine weitere Infektion zu verhindern, ist, alle deine Fische zur Behandlung in ein Quarantäne-Becken zu nehmen und den Parasiten im "brachliegenden" Display-Becken auszuhungern. Behandle alle deine Fische mit Kupfermedikation in einem separaten QT-Becken und halte sie 4–8 Wochen isoliert. Sobald der Parasit keinen Wirt im Display-Becken findet, wird er nach seinem Lebenszyklus (etwa 4 Wochen) vermutlich völlig absterben.
The best way to eradicate Ich from your reef aquarium and prevent further infection is to remove all your fish for treatment in a quarantine tank and let the parasite die out in the "fallow" display. Treat all your fish with copper medication in a separate QT tank and keep them isolated for 4-8 weeks. Once the parasite is not able to find a host in your display tank, it will presumably die off completely after it runs through its lifecycle (roughly 4 weeks).

Ich habe seit kurzem mehr recherchiert, weil das eine häufige Frage ist. Es sieht so aus, als wäre Samt ein viel kleineres Partikel, etwa so groß wie Puderzucker. Während Ick etwa so groß wie Salzkörner ist. (dein Pic sieht für mich eher nach Salz aus) Auch überleben Fische Samt nicht lange. Wenn das länger als ein paar Tage andauert, würde ich eher auf Ick schließen.
I’ve started doing more research on this since it’s been a common questions. Seems like velvet is a tinier particle about the size of powder sugar. While ich is about the size of salt. ( your pic looks more like salt to me ) Also fish don’t survive velvet very long. If this has been more than a few days that would lead me to believe ich.

Unfortunately, the fish passed away suddenly. I noticed a significant color change, turning a drake-like purple, and it began hiding—behavior that was unusual for it. I had attempted to quarantine the fish, but it didn’t survive. I suspect the display tank may be the source of the illness, as I typically treat my fish before introducing them to it.

I noticed it two days ago; at first, I thought it was just sand stuck to the fish's skin. However, today the entire fish was covered in white spots, and it looks really bad. The fish's behavior has changed too; it doesn't move much and keeps hiding away.
