ich fahre gerade ein neues Becken ein (ca. 80 L, gestartet am Freitag) und habe heute 70 Tropfen Modern Reef AmmoMix dosiert (1 Tropfen pro Liter laut Anleitung). Ich habe 45 Minuten später mit einem Salifert NH4 Test gemessen und es zeigt immer noch 0, überhaupt keine Farbveränderung.
Setup: Tropic Marin Bio-Actif Salz, CaribSea Fiji Pink Live Sand, ARKA Dry Rock, TM NitriBiotic am Freitag dosiert.
Sollte 1 Tropfen pro Liter nicht wenigstens irgendwas anzeigen? Ist der Salifert Test auf dem Niveau nicht empfindlich genug, oder könnte das Set defekt sein? Hat jemand dieselbe Erfahrung mit AmmoMix gemacht?

I'm cycling a new tank (approx. 80 L, started Friday) and dosed 70 drops of Modern Reef AmmoMix today (1 drop per liter as per instructions). I measured 45 minutes later with a Salifert NH4 test and it still shows 0, no color change at all.
Setup: Tropic Marin Bio-Actif salt, CaribSea Fiji Pink live sand, ARKA dry rock, TM NitriBiotic dosed on Friday.
Shouldn't 1 drop per liter show at least something? Is the Salifert test not sensitive enough at this level, or could the kit be faulty? Has anyone had the same experience with AmmoMix?

Probier zuerst, das gemischte AmmoMix direkt zu testen.
Try testing the mixed AmmoMix directly first.
