Ich habe mit meinem LFS gesprochen und einen Jod-/Salzbasierten Dip bekommen, der speziell auf diese Infektion abzielt, aber die Chancen für diese Torch stehen äußerst schlecht. Schade, dass ich wirklich nichts mehr tun kann, das kam völlig aus dem Nichts. Alle meine anderen Euphyllia geht es super. Habe außerdem neue Kohle eingesetzt und einen Wasserwechsel gemacht, um die Chancen zu verringern, dass sich das im Becken ausbreitet. Drückt mir die Daumen und betet für den Kerl.

Well guys, this torch’s health has rapidly declined within 24hrs to brown jelly disease 🦠
I talked to my LFS and got some iodine/salt based dip that specifically targets this infection but this torch’s chances are slim to none. Sucks that there’s really nothing more I can do, happened out of nowhere. All of my other euphyllia are doing great. Also put some new carbon and did a water change to reduce the e chances of this spreading throughout the tank. Wish me luck and say a prayer for this guy.

Mann, das ist brutal, BJD breitet sich erschreckend schnell aus. Gute Entscheidung mit Aktivkohle und dem Wasserwechsel, ich würde die Torch isoliert halten und die nahe Euphyllia genau beobachten.
Man that’s brutal, BJD moves scary fast. Good call on carbon and the water change, I’d keep that torch isolated and watch the nearby euphyllia close.
