Ya casi listo para montar 6 cultivos de pods y de brine para mantener bien alimentadito a este pequeñín en mi nano de 31 galones. Mientras tanto, se está dando un festín con los pods de mi roca, además de con cyclopods congelados de Hikari. ¡Desea me suerte!
Getting ready to set up 6 pod and brine cultures to keep this little dude well fed in my 31 gallon nano. In the meantime, he’s feasting on the pods on my rock as well as hikari frozen cyclopods. Wish me luck!

Muy padre. ¿Culturas de copépodos y de brine shrimp? Yo hice una cultura de brine con un kit de huevos secos y salió bien, no lo mejor jaja. ¿Cómo le estás haciendo para crear las cultuas?

Voy a tener unos Tupperwares con tubos de una aeropompa para aireación. 5 cultivos serán de pods mientras que los otros serán una criadora de brine con huevos secos. Estoy bien paranoico de que este pez se emacien así que voy a hacer todo lo que pueda para prevenirlo, aunque tendré que regresarlo a la tienda de peces si empieza a perder un montón de peso
I’m going to have some Tupperwares with airline tubes from an air pump for aeration. 5 cultures will be pods while they be will be a brine hatchery with dried eggs. I’m so paranoid about this fish getting emaciated so I’m going to do everything I can to prevent that, though I will have to bring him back to the fish store if he starts losing a bunch of weight

Qué chido. Me encantaría ver cómo queda montado el set de las cultuas cuando ya esté corriendo. He escuchado que son comedores bien quisquillosos, así que se nota que estás haciendo todo bien. No tengo experiencia con un mandarín yo.
Nice. I’d love to see the culture set up once you have it running. I’ve heard they are finicky eaters so it sounds like you are doing everything right. I don’t have any experience with a mandarin myself.

Sobreviven bien nomás que no se reproducen realmente. Estoy usando un acuario de 5 galones con un filtro de esponja chiquito que mete un par de burbujitas por segundo por una airline.
They survive fine just don’t reproduce really. I’m using a 5 gallon tank with a tiny sponge filter that puts a few tiny bubbles per second through an airline.

Mmm, lo único que se me ocurre es que se estén quedando atorados en la esponja. Una airline debería ser suficiente. ¿Qué pods estás cultivando y con qué los estás alimentando?
Hmm, only thing I could think of is that they may be getting caught in the sponge. An airline should be plenty. Which pods are you culturing and what are you feeding them?
