Wow..😳😳😀😀 Día 3. 8:30 a. m. Abro mi despensa para ver cómo van las cosas. El fitoplancton se está poniendo cada vez más verde. Me preocupa un poco el frasco de Copepods. Hay muchos de ellos bailando ahí dentro. Pero el frasco todavía se ve verde claro. Bueno... sigamos. Cuatro días más..😀
Wow..😳😳😀😀 Day 3. 8:30am. I open my pantry to see how things are going. The phytoplankton is really getting greener. I'm a little concerned with the Copepods jar. There are lots of them dancing in there. But the jar still looks lite green. Well...Let's keep going. Four more days..😀

¡Ese color verde ya se ve increíble! Las culturas de phyto pueden ser complicadas, pero suena a que vas por buen camino y tus copépodos definitivamente están felices ahí dentro.
That green color is looking awesome already! Phyto cultures can be tricky but it sounds like you’re on the right track and your copepods are definitely happy in there.

Hola.. No, no va en el refri. Estoy cultivando este frasco de 96 onzas en mi alacena. Cuando pasen los 7 días y el fitoplancton esté listo. Entonces usaré 64 onzas y 32 onzas empezarán la cultura de la semana siguiente..😀 Te recomiendo que lo intentes. Si lo necesitas en tu Tank. Ahorra mucho $$.
Hi.. No not in the fridge. I'm growing this 96 ounce jar in my pantry. When the 7 days are up and the phytoplankton is ready. Then I'll put 64 ounces to use and 32 ounces will start the following week culture..😀 I recommend you try. If you need it in your Tank. Saves lots of $$.

Muy bien, hermano. Probablemente me pasé el 50% de mi día de hoy investigando distintos tipos de cultivos, distintos tipos de kits de cultivo, diferentes especies de phyto y tratando de decidir si quiero hacer solo phyto o también cope pods.
Very cool brother. I’m probably spent 50% of my day today researching different types of cultures, different types of culture kits, different species of phyto and trying to decide whether I want to do just phyto or cope pods also.

Eso está genial.. Yo hice lo mismo que tú estás haciendo. Luego decidí arriesgarme. Llevo 3 días y hasta ahora todo bien. Conseguí la mayoría de mis cosas en Amazon. Solo tratando de ahorrar algo de dinero. 🙂

I’ve just been digging into the culture strain of what type of phyto fights diatoms, and is beneficial for the copepods in my tank. Unfortunately, not every strain you have the same success as another strain. In fact, some strains do nothing for your system. It’s a lot to know. This Secchi stick helps determine if your culture is at its optimum strength.
