He estado tratando ich y flukes en mi acuario principal sin ver que esté funcionando. ¿Puedo dejar de usarlo, hacer un cambio de agua e intentar con polylab medic? Llevo 14 días usando kick ich pro y 3 días con rally pro. No tengo acuario de cuarentena.
I’ve been treating for ich and fluke in my display tank with no signs of it helping can I stop using it and do water change and try polylab medic been using kick ich pro for 14 days and I did 3 days of rally pro I don’t got a qt tank

¡Estaba a punto de postear un tema parecido! Llevo 11 días usando polylab medic. El ich empezó a desaparecer pero parece que ha vuelto hoy con venganza, específicamente en mi tang azul. Ahora estoy probando esha oodinex. Tengo el mismo problema, sin acuario de cuarentena y tengo invertebrados y corales.
I was about to post a similar topic! I’ve been suing polylab medic for 11 days today. Ich started to clear but seems to have returned today with vengeance, specific to my powder blue tang. Now trying esha oodinex. I have the same issue, no quarantine tank and have both inverts and corals.

Desgraciadamente he pasado por eso, probé todo durante muchos meses y siempre vuelve. Los powders son más susceptibles definitivamente. ¡Perdí todos mis peces! La única forma es romper el ciclo. Saca los peces a otro acuario, trátalos con cobre y deja el acuario sin peces durante 75 a 81 días. Yo no saqué los peces y todos murieron, luego hice los 81 días y tengo peces nuevos desde hace un mes sin señales.
Unfortunately I've been down that road tried everything many many months and just comes back powders are more susceptible to it for sure. I lost all my fish! Only way is to break the cycle. Fish out in another tank treat with copper and let Tank Go Fish less for 75 to 81 days. I did not pull fish out they all died and then did the 81 days have new fish in for about a month now no sign

Es un dolor y realmente estoy intentando evitar la molestia de estar sin peces, pero podría ser la única opción. Estoy dudando si es ich o velvet.
It’s such a pain and really trying to prevent the aggravation of fish less, but might be the only option. On the fence as to whether it’s ich or velvet.

Podría ser los dos, empezó ich luego velvet. Ich es tamaño grano de sal y velvet polvo fino. Y si compras peces, solo de tiendas de confianza en acuarios separados, no en un mismo sump. NADA de PETCO o cadenas a menos que los estés en cuarentena.
Could be both started ich then velvet ich is salt grain size and velvet fine dust size and if buying fish only trusted lfs fish in separate tanks beening not one sump. NO PETCO or chain unless you are QT ing them

Es más parecido a grano de sal honestamente. Estoy en UK, aquí no tenemos PETCO, mi lfs sí usa múltiples acuarios de un mismo sump aunque ☹️ La única otra opción de tratamiento (sin cuarentena) que hay aquí es el NT Labs anti bacterial que es reef safe, si no, va a haber que tragarse el sapo y hacer cuarentena.
It is more salt grain like in all honesty. I’m UK based, we don’t have PETCO here, my lfs does run multiple tanks from one sump though ☹️ The only other (non QT) treatment available here is the NT Labs anti bacterial that is reef safe, failing this going to have to bite the bullet and QT.

Perdí mi acuario muchas veces por ich, recientemente tuve ich y decidí contraatacar, usé polyplab medic durante como diez días, remojé toda la comida del pez en selcon y garlic guard, incluso la nori, y añadí dos esterilizadores UV en el sump, fue en enero y hasta ahora todo va bien, todos los peces, invertebrados y corales sobrevivieron, hice un cambio de agua en el día diez y cada semana después, además alimenté el acuario mucho más, corales y peces, espero que te ayude.
lost my tank many times to ich recently had ich and decided to fight back i used polyplab medic for like ten days i soaked all my fish food in selcon and garlic guard even the nori and i added two uv sterilizers in the sump that was in January so far so good all fish inverts and corals survived did a water change at the ten day mark and every week after also fed the tank a lot more corals and fish hope this helps

Por mi experiencia desgraciadamente no, nada que vaya a funcionar también va a matar los invertebrados y corales o los va a debilitar mucho. El cobre es prácticamente lo único que lo mata, aunque puede haber otras cosas.
In my experience unfortunately no anything that's going to work it's also going to kill any inverts and coral or severely weaken them copper is about the only thing that will kill it there might be some other stuff out there
