Reef Safe?
Yes, the Midas Blenny is considered reef safe. However, it may nip at small-polyped stony coral and some soft coral polyps.

The best thing about this fish is the way they swim and the fact they are always out. My kids have decided he swims most like an eel and they aren’t wrong. Beautiful coloring and very active. Great addition to any tank with plenty of hiding spots.

This fish is typically always swimming and unlike most fish it doesn’t have a swim bladder. Mine will swim around the tank and then hide away in the barnacles I got for it with its head sticking out. Put it at medium difficulty because since they use a lot of energy to swim they should be fed frequently. Recently noticed mine was losing weight so I have been spot feeding it. Don’t know if this is common with these fish but thought it was a good mention.

No issue. Will throw sand on corals when hiding.

Very unique fish, it's important to note the fact that unlike most blennies, this guy swims in the water column a lot, doesnt perch as much. It will be a little aggressive if kept with similar shaped fish.
