After LOTS of research set up my first saltwater tank 55g in the beginning of 2024. After a few short months decided to upgrade it to a 175g and now here we are 🥰

Does anyone else have a BTA who loves the wave maker? This has been his mostly permanent home since I got him a few months ago. My first nem do not much experience but I’m pretty sure he thinks he’s a torch. Never bubbles up. Got so much room in here to move around but he chooses the overflow with so much direct flow.

PS don’t mind my children arguing in the background 🤪 it’s a regular occurrence

I F0<43D up BIG time!!!!! First time in my reefing journey I want to cry 😭 I’m usually super careful with my water changes. Test refill water and tank before and test tank after. I woke up early this morning and tried to do a water change before work. Suggestion: NEVER DO THAT 😭 I would have sworn up and down that my salt container was mixed and ready to go two days ago. I have NO IDEA what happened or if I’m just losing my mind. I just did a 20% change with RODI 🫠🫠 then. I panicked. Added dry salt to the tank. Because ya know… you can’t make one mistake. Have to compound them. My initial change dropped 1.025 to 1.020. Added about 5 cups of salt to my display 😭 then realized I’m an idiot and added two more to the filter sock.

Who says captive bred yellow tangs can’t be bright?!? Got this guy from Dr Reefs two months ago and he was completely translucent 😆 could barely tell he was yellow.

Post pics of your captive breeds!!

PS he’s the smallest tang in the tank and he’s already being sassy haha
