Description

The Multicolored Angelfish, also known as the Many-Spotted Angelfish or Coral Beauty, is a highly popular saltwater fish known for its vibrant coloration. This species exhibits a stunning mix of blue, orange, and yellow hues, making it a standout in any aquarium setting.

Reef Safe?

Yes, but with caution. While generally considered reef safe, the Multicolored Angelfish may nip at soft and stony polyp corals, clam mantles, and large polyp stony corals.

Environment

The Multicolored Angelfish prefers a well-decorated aquarium with plenty of hiding spots. Live rock for grazing is a beneficial addition to their environment. They thrive in a stable environment and sudden changes can cause stress.

Behavior

This species is semi-aggressive. While it is generally peaceful towards other species, it may exhibit territorial behaviors towards its own kind and similar species. It is best to keep only one Multicolored Angelfish per tank unless the aquarium is large enough to support multiple territories.
