Description

The Red Marbled Dragonet is a small, vibrantly colored saltwater fish, known for its unique pattern of red and white marbling. This fish is a bottom dweller and has a flattened body shape with large pectoral fins that it uses to "walk" along the substrate.

Yes, the Red Marbled Dragonet is considered reef safe and will not harm corals or other invertebrates.

Environment

The Red Marbled Dragonet prefers a tank with plenty of hiding spots and a sandy substrate for foraging. It does best in a well-established tank with a healthy population of copepods.

Behavior

This fish is generally peaceful and spends most of its time foraging for food along the bottom of the tank. It can be shy and may hide when first introduced to a new environment.
