This to me is the perfect beginner tang as in my experience they are one of the most hardy and can be homed in an aquarium as small as 55 gallons. It is a Bristletooth tang meaning it’s an incredible algae eater. Worth the money on these guys.

Great addition to any reef tank. When introduced it took control of algea and was doing an amazing job. Very outgoing and swims with other fish. The tommini tang is a great addition to anyone looking to control algea and have a some what peaceful fish. They can be aggressive once established but won’t be very aggressive.

Bought it to control film algae, but it’s practically useless. Good for hair algae, though. Also keeps my damsel in line and is an active swimmer.
