C’est Alpheus randalli ou une crevette pistolet « candy cane ». Je me disais qu’un particulier pourrait ne pas pouvoir l’importer, mais qu’un importateur commercial le pourrait ? Tu arrives à en faire la demande via ton magasin de poissons local ? Je connais pas trop le droit brésilien, mais je bosse dans le commerce de gros marin, donc je suis curieux d’en savoir plus !
This is Alpheus randalli or candy cane pistol shrimp. I thought a hobbyist might not be able to bring it in but a commercial importer could? Are you able to request from your local fish store? I'm not too knowledgeable about Brazilian law, but I work in wholesale marine selling, so I'm interested to know!
La liste des animaux autorisés à l’importation est très courte, et ce genre de crevette qui fait des symbioses avec un gobie n’est malheureusement pas sur la liste.
The list of animals alowed for the importation is Very short and this kind of shrimp that make simbioses with a goby unfortunately is not on the list
C’est vraiment nul. Tu pourrais quand même réussir à avoir une relation symbiotique dans ton bac ! Les dards (dartfish) sont connus pour partager des terriers avec les « shrimp gobies » (gobies crevettes) ; tu peux lire ça dans l’article du Coral magazine du 19 août 2020 « Playing with Darts ». Super intéressant, et quand j’aurai mon gros bac en place, je tenterai sûrement une paire !
That is truly a bummer. You might still be able to have a symbiotic relationship in your tank! Dartfish are known to share burrows with "shrimp gobies", you can read about it in the August 19, 2020 Coral magazine article "Playing with Darts". Super interesting and when I have my big tank set up I'll surely be attempting a pair!
