Hi. I have an issue with high calcium in my nano tank. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations on how to reduce it? Or should I just leave it alone?

J'ai aucune expérience avec ce truc. Ils offrent un mélange à plus bas calcium? J'ai dû passer de l'orange Instant Ocean au violet et c'est parfait depuis. 👌🏼
I have no experience with that stuff. Do they offer a lower calcium mix? I had to switch from orange instant ocean to purple and it’s been perfect since. 👌🏼

Here’s what I found. The calc range should be 400-420 in the salt itself.

J'utilise All For Reef aussi et l'alcalinité est définitivement retardée à l'apparition au test. C'est un formiate de calcium converti en alcalinité par les bactéries. Sur un système établi ça peut prendre plusieurs jours pour voir une augmentation apparaître au test, du moins c'est comme ça avec mon système.
I use All For Reef too and the alkalinity is definitely delayed in showing up on a test. It's a calcium formate converted to alkalinity by bacteria. On an established system it can take several days to see an increase show up on a test, at least that's how it's been with my system.

J'ai de l'eau de puits. En fait de l'eau de puits de source. J'habite au nord-est du Tennessee dans les montagnes et j'ai testé mon eau RO avant d'ajouter du sel et c'était élevé en calcium. Plutôt drôle. Tous les nouveaux filtres sur mon unité RO 4 étages
I have well water. Actually spring well water. I live in north east Tennessee in the mountains and I tested my rodi water before adding salt and it was high in calcium. Kinda funny. All new filters on 4 stage rodi unit

Le calcium élevé peut probablement être cool si l'alk et le mag sont stables par contre. Peut-être baisser le dosage un peu?
High calc can probs be chill if alk and mag are stable tho. Maybe dial down dosing a bit?
L'alk et le mag vont bien. Juste le calcium qui est plus élevé. Je dose l'AFR au quotidien en ce moment
Alk and mag are fine. Only higher at the calc. Currently daily dosing the AFR
D'acc! Peut-être essaie de réduire le dosage d'AFR un peu et vois si ça aide à calmer le calcium. Parfois moins
Gotcha! Maybe try easing up on the AFR dosing a bit and see if that helps calm the calc down. Sometimes less

Je suis aussi d'accord avec l'autre gars parce que j'ai l'impression que l'alcalinité de l'AFR est retardée ou n'apparaît pas au test car ça m'est arrivé plusieurs fois en dosant l'AFR même un mois plus tard mais ça tend à montrer du calcium tandis que l'alk reste bas aux tests donc ouais je baissserais le dosage comme l'autre gars a dit et je laisserais reposer un peu et espérons que l'alk va finalement apparaître
I also agree with the other guy as I have a feeling the AFR alkalinity is delayed or not showing up on test as I’ve had it happen many times when stating AFR even a month later but tends to show calcium while alk remains low on tests so yeah I would lower it as the other guy said and let it sit for awhile and hopefully alk will show up
J'ai ce problème aussi. Mon calcium est à environ 480. Je voulais doser l'AFR pour la facilité mais depuis que mon calcium est monté je dose juste Brightwell Alkalin8.3 et Brightwell Magnesion.
I have this issue too. My calc is about 480. I wanted to dose afr for the ease of it but since my calc is up I just dose brightwell alkalin8.3 and brightwell magnesion.
