Penso che il mio FOWLR da 75 gallon sia finalmente pronto! Questo è il mio primo sistema marino, ho più di una dozzina di acquari d'acqua dolce.

Ho iniziato il processo a metà maggio, stagionando al buio la roccia reef sterile nel mio seminterrato. Ho passato gran parte dell'estate a testare l'acqua di questo allestimento nel mio garage, sostituendo anche tutti i tubi flessibili in vinile con PVC rigido. L'ho sistemato nello spazio attuale in casa lo scorso weekend, solo per scoprire che l'overflow EShopps Eclipse L perdeva a causa di un dado del passaparete rotto (errore da principiante: l'ho stretto troppo.) I pezzi di ricambio sono arrivati ieri e finalmente ho rimesso tutto in funzione. Non vedo l'ora di fare il test finale dell'ammoniaca e poi iniziare a introdurre i pesci che hanno già completato la QT.

I think my 75 gallon FOWLR is finally ready! This is my first saltwater system, I have more than a dozen freshwater aquariums.

I started the process back in mid-May, dark curing sterile reef rock in my basement. Most of the summer was spent water testing this setup out in my garage while also replacing all of the flexible vinyl tubing with rigid PVC. I set it up in its current space in the house last weekend only to realize the EShopps Eclipse L overflow was leaking due to a broken bulkhead nut (rookie overtightening mistake.) The replacements came yesterday and I finally got it all back up and running. Excited to do a final ammonia test and then start introducing fish that have already completed QT.
