Nonostante un guasto al riscaldatore che ha fatto salire la temperatura a 28-30 gradi per un po', la vasca se la cava ancora piuttosto bene.

Ondanks een heater mankement waarbij de temp voor een tijd op 28-30graden stond doet de tank het nog aardig goed.

Voi aggiungereste uno sterilizzatore UV a una 25 Lagoon? Nessuna malattia nell'acqua o su nessun pesce, ma giusto per sicurezza…

Sto guardando quello fatto da Innovative Marine che è fatto per adattarsi alle camere posteriori di questa vasca. Sostituirebbe due sacche Matrix (ho altra Matrix in entrambe le camere angolari)

Would you guys add a UV sterilizer to a 25 Lagoon? No disease in the water or on any fish but as a just in case…

Looking at the one made by innovative marine that’s made to fit this tanks back chambers. It would replace two Matrix bags (I have more matrix in both corner chambers)

E anche l'elementare sperimentale sta andando piuttosto bene!

And the experimental is doing quite well too!

Le alghe sono tornate. La vasca fa di nuovo schifo

Algae is back. Tank looks rubbish again

Sono probabilmente copepodi? Ne ho aggiunti alcuni 2 settimane fa e non ne ho visti di giorno da quando li ho messi (penso che siano stati tutti mangiati); è la prima volta che li vedo di notte, se sono loro. Attirati dal vetro che ha un po’ di crescita di alghe. Che ne pensi?

Are these likely copepods ? I added some 2 weeks ago and haven’t seen any during the day since adding ( thinking they’ve all been eaten) it’s the first time I’ve seen them on a night if so. Drawn to the glass which has some algae growth. Thoughts ?

Ho iniziato la mia primissima vasca quest'anno (febbraio '26). È sempre stato un sogno poter entrare nell'hobby dell'acqua salata e, dopo anni di dubbi, quest'anno ho deciso di provarci. La vasca è ancora lontana dall'essere matura dopo circa 7 mesi di funzionamento. La roccia reef secca perdeva molto e per molto tempo è stata una festa di alghe. La vasca è ancora libera da parassiti (era quello l'obiettivo della dryrock). Ho accelerato il ciclo con un litro di sabbia da un sistema maturo che ha introdotto copepodi. Started my very first tank this year (february '26). It has always been a dream to be able to join the saltwater hobby and after years of doubt I decided to go for it this year. The tank is far from mature after only running for about 7 months. The dry reef rock was leaking a lot and was a algea party for a long time. The tank is still pest free (that was the goal of the dryrock). I boosted the cycle with a litre of sand from a mature system which introduced copepods. This is a zero water change project.
