ID bitte. Ich bin neu im Meerwasser-Aquariumhobby. Ich habe diesen Ableger bekommen, von dem ich dachte, es wäre eine Koralle, kostenlos mit meiner letzten Bestellung. Jetzt kommen diese Polypen raus. Auf dem 1. Foto kannst du die violette Spitze der Koralle sehen, von der ich dachte, sie wäre kostenlos, und sie wachsen von unten, sie haben sich alle eingezogen, als ich das Stück angefasst habe (Foto 2). Ist das Aiptasia?
ID please. I am new to marine aquariums hobby. I got this piece, of what I thought was a coral, free with my last order. Now it has those polyps popping out. On the 1st photo you can see the purple top of what I through was free coral and they are growing from the bottom, they all retracted when I handled the piece (photo 2). Is this aiptasia?

Ich glaube nicht, dass das Aiptasia ist, hauptsächlich weil die Polypen nicht dünn und faserig aussehen. Ich würde sagen, das sieht eher nach Grüner Stern-Polyp-Koralle aus
I don't think this is aiptasia, mostly due to the polyps not being thin and wispy. I'd say this looks more like green star polyp coral

Ich bin erschrocken und habe das Stück weggeworfen. Es ist so schwer zu wissen, wenn man neu dabei ist und Google war nicht hilfreich.
I got scared and trashed the piece. It's so hard to know when you are new and Google was not helpful.

Nach weiteren Recherchen und einem netten Kommentar von lehairycrab habe ich das Stück aus dem Müll geholt und es wieder in einen Behälter im Hauptbecken gestellt. Ich denke, ich stimme zu, dass es eher nach einer GSP aussieht. Ich könnte das für immer bereuen oder am Ende eine coole Geschichte haben, wie es eine Reise in den Müll überlebt hat, wir werden sehen (mal schauen, ob er es zunächst überlebt 😅)
After more research and kind comment from lehairycrab, I ended up pulling it out of trash and setting it back in a container in the main tank. I think I agree it looks more like a gsp. I may regret this forever or I may end up with a cool story of it surviving a trip the the bin, we shall see (lets see if he survives first 😅)

Ausgezeichnete Nachricht für mich, ich würde es hassen, nur einen Monat nach Beginn eines neuen Setups Aiptasia zu bekommen. Ich habe mein Aquarium mit vollständiger Ausrüstung gekauft (jetzt weiß ich, dass es besser ist, die Ausrüstung separat zu kaufen, aber es war mein erstes Aquarienkauf überhaupt). Es ist ein 90cm Strip Glo von der Marke Aqua One. Ich plane, es zu ersetzen, aber ich recherchiere noch, da ich meine Beleuchtung relativ mild halten muss wegen der Pfauen-Mantis-Garnele, die ich in das Becken setzen plane.
Excellent news for me, I would hate to get aiptasia only a month into a new set up. I got my aquarium with all the kit included (now I know it's better to buy equipment separately but it was my first ever aquarium purchase). It is a 90cm Strip Glo by Aqua One brand. I am planning to replace it, but I am still doing some research as I need to keep my light relatively mild due to future peacock mantis shrimp I am planning to put in the tank.

Da es lose war, habe ich es in einen kleinen Behälter mit Steinbrocken gelegt, damit es anhaften kann, aber der Behälter war seit letztem Donnerstag in meinem Becken, daher bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob das relevant ist. Der ganze Behälter mit dem ganzen Inhalt ist jetzt im Müll. Vielen Dank für deine Hilfe!
As it was loose i put it in a small container with rock pieces so it can attach, but the container was inside my tank since last Thursday, so I am not sure if that matters. The whole container with all contents is now in trash. Thank you so much for your help!
