Salut à tous! Je voulais juste avoir vos avis. J'aimerais ajouter un Tang juvénile (je sais qu'il va dépasser la taille du bac) avec l'intention de l'échanger pour un autre juvénile quand il sera plus grand.
Quelqu'un a-t-il de l'expérience avec ça? Pros et cons? Merci!!
Hey all! Just wanted some opinions. I’d like to add a Juvenile Tang (I know they will outgrow the tank) with plans of trading it in for another juvenile when it gets bigger.
Has anyone had experience doing this? Pros and cons? Thanks!!

Je suis d'accord avec la déclaration ci-dessus ils sont beaux et de très bons mangeurs d'algues aussi mais ils peuvent être agressifs et augmenter significativement ta charge biologique dans un si petit bac j'ai appris de la façon difficile
I agree with the above statement they're beautiful and very good algae eaters as well but they can be aggressive and increase your bio load significantly in that small of a tank I learned the hard way
Si tu prends un très petit je ne vois pas de problème et personnellement en tant que propriétaire d'un plus grand aquarium j'essaie d'acheter des gros poissons pour mes bacs car les petits risquent de mourir à cause du harcèlement par des cohabitats beaucoup plus gros. (Ce qui signifie que tu trouveras probablement beaucoup de gens impatients d'acheter ce tang plus gros) Tant que la taille du tang est raisonnable je ne vois pas de problème. En fait beaucoup de gens ont des "bacs de croissance" pour ce but spécifique.
If you get a small small one I don’t see a problem with it, and personally as a larger aquarium owner I try to only by large fish for my aquariums as the small ones will likely die do to bullying by much larger tank mates. (Meaning you will likely find many people eager to buy said larger tang) As long as the tang size is within reason I see no problem with it. In fact many people own “grow out” tanks for that specific purpose.

The ONLY tangs I would consider for a tank that small would be either Kole tangs or tomini tangs (possibly a very small yellow tang) But again, you must remember how quickly these fish grow, and any tang you buy will likely outgrow the tank in a matter of months

Il semble que ce ne soit pas une si bonne idée à long terme si je ne passe pas à un plus grand bac. Je sais que je pourrais réussir à replacer le poisson s'il devient trop gros, mais d'un autre côté, répéter ce processus encore et encore chaque année juste pour avoir un petit tang dans mon BioCube n'est pas attrayant. Passer à un plus grand bac serait la meilleure solution pour moi et le tang lol.
Seems like it’s not so much of a good idea in the long run if I don’t upgrade. I know can manage to rehome the fish if it gets too big, but then again, repeating that process over and over again every year just to have a small tang in my BioCube is a turn off. Getting a bigger tank would be the best solution for me and the tang lol.

Flame angel was a thought, but they are hit or miss with coral. They are a beauty though.
D'après mon expérience s'ils sont bien nourris ils ne s'en prennent jamais aux coraux. J'ai définitivement entendu le contraire, mais la grande majorité sont reef safe
In my experience if well fed they never pick at corals. I’ve definitely heard of contrary evidence, but the vast majority are reef safe

Je ne recommande pas de prendre un poisson que tu prévois d'échanger. Les déplacements sont stressants pour les poissons. À moins que tu prévois de passer à un plus grand bac dans ta maison, ce qui est un peu moins stressant pour eux, je resterais loin des gros poissons. Mon bac de quarantaine est le même que celui que tu as et j'ai de la peine pour mes tangs quand ils n'ont pas tout l'espace pour nager comme ils le font dans mon bac principal. Ils ont besoin d'un long bac pour nager d'un bout à l'autre. Ils sont très actifs une fois qu'ils sont dans un grand bac et à l'aise.
I do not recommend getting a fish you plan on trading out. Moves are stressful for fish. Unless you plan on upgrading to a bigger tank in your own home, which is slightly less stressful on them, I would stay clear of big fish. My quarantine tank is the same tank you have and I feel bad for my tangs when they don’t have all the room to swim around I know they do in my display. They need a long tank to swim from one end to the other. They are very active once they get in a big tank and are comfortable.

Concernant la croissance, est-ce qu'un tang va généralement dépasser la taille de mon bac actuel en un an? Ou ça prend généralement plus longtemps? J'ai toujours voulu un tang, mais je n'en ai jamais acheté à cause du manque d'espace. J'aimerais commencer à prévoir.
Thank you! So, I will upgrade to a bigger tank in about a year or two to a long style tank for more horizontal swim space rather than a cube. As far as growth, is a tang generally going to outgrow my current tank within a year? Or it would generally take longer. Have always wanted a tang, but never have bought one because the lack of tank space. Would like to start planning ahead.
Je déteste être celui qui dit ça mais je ne mettrais pas un tang dans un cube de 32g pour une période prolongée. Peuvent-ils "rentrer"? Oui. Vont-ils s'épanouir? Non. J'ai plusieurs tangs. J'en ai eu qui étaient extrêmement petits à un grand juvénile. Le plus petit tang que j'ai eu était mon jaune. C'était la plus petite chose. Ce n'était il y a seulement 3 mois. Et il a déjà grandi suffisamment que je ne voudrais pas qu'il vive dans mon bac de quarantaine (le BioCube de 32g). Je dirais qu'un 55g est un bac où tu peux "commencer" avec un tang pendant un an environ avant d'avoir besoin de passer à un plus grand. Même si c'est seulement 23g de plus c'est environ 27" plus long. C'est une énorme différence d'espace de nage pour eux ce qui se traduit par un poisson plus heureux.
I hate to be the one to say this but I would not put a tang in a 32g cube for any extended period of time. Can they “fit”? Yes. Will they thrive? No. I have several tangs. I’ve gotten tangs from extremely small to a large juvenile. The smallest tang I got was my yellow. He was the tiniest thing. Which was only 3 months ago. And he’s already grown enough I wouldn’t want him living in my quarantine (the 32g bio cube) tank. I’d say a 55g is a tank you can “start” a tang in for a year or so before you need to upgrade. Even though it’s only 23g more it’s about 27” longer. That’s a huge difference in swimming space for them which translates to a happier fish.
