Dank je! Ik ben aan het nadenken wat ik nog wil toevoegen. Ik heb een echt sterke eiwitafschuimer die geschikt is tot 240 gallon dus ik dacht van, ik kan nog wat extra vissen erbij doen

Dank je! Ik ben begonnen met droog steen en levend zand. Ik voerde elke dag en gebruikte ongeveer een halve fles Weiss starterbacteriën. Ik denk dat het echte sleutel tot mijn succes was dat ik na de initiële cyclus wat Tampa bay zoutwaterleven steen toevoegde. De hoeveelheid nuttige bacteriën en bioleven op de stenen kan niet worden geëvenaard. Ik had geen sterfte op de steen omdat ie in een emmer zeewater komt. Na de eerste maand van cyclering voegde ik een heleboel macroalgen en 5 chromis toe. Voerde echt vies en liet de macroalgen wild groeien. Ik had nooit een lelijke fase. Ik doe elke 2-3 weken een waterverversing, afhankelijk van hoe mijn koralen eruitzien. Mijn eiwitafschuimer is geschikt voor ongeveer 250 gallon. Ik dose dagelijks All for Reef. Verder doe ik eigenlijk niet veel. Ik test bijna niet meer.
Thank you! I started with dry rock and live sand. I fed everyday and used like half a bottle of Weiss starter bacteria. I think the real key to my success was getting some Tampa bay saltwater live rock after my initial cycle. The amount of beneficial bacteria and bio life on the rocks cannot be matched. I had zero die off on the rock as it comes in a bucket of saltwater. After the first month of cycling I added a bunch of macro algae and 5 chromis. Fed really dirty and let the macro grow wild. I never went through an ugly phase. I water change every 2 -3 weeks depending on how my corals look. My skimmer is rated for like 250 gallons. I dose All for Reef daily. Other than that that’s pretty much all I do. I barely test anymore.

Welkom in de community! Je mix van zachte koralen en LPS ziet echt goed uitgebalanceerd en die kleuren knallen onder je verlichting. Die tang en die clownfish geven ook zo'n mooie beweging!

Dank je! Ik houd al zo'n 15 jaar min of meer aquariums aan. Het is echt ongelofelijk hoe ver het hobby is gevorderd vooral met technologie.
